This product is as easy as one, two, three. Set your camera to manual, shoot the target, set white balance. Excellent tool for digital photography.

Another present which Santa left on my doorstep is the 26 Westcott Octabox. I was reluctant before buying this, but after reading so many good reviews and viewing some YouTube clips I decided to give it a try. WoW!!! This baby is a-ma-zing!!! The set-up time is less than 5 minutes and much better than the set-up of some portable boxes I previously owned. Very versatile, convenient, portable and easy. The white front cover does not come with Velcro, which is a big plus, because it's just a matter of wearing/ fitting it unto the octabox, which opens and closes just like a regular umbrella. The only downside is that when you want the best performance out of this, you have to purchase the Deflector Plate separately. With this, the soft-box turns into a 26 beauty dish. I recommend this Octabox to those who are experimenting or starting out with off-camera strobe lighting.

I ordered and received my 26 Boom Box a while back. I was not too happy with it when it arrived for two reasons, one of which was minor. It came with the wrong owners manual/instruction booklet. I got an instruction booklet for a table top portable cube. No big thing, I've been in photography way too many years not to be able to figure this thing out. The second problem was with the item it's self. The second time I set it up for use, the screw that holds the box at the correct height felt like it was stripping out. I'm an old guy so I don't have that much strength in my hands anymore. The third time I set it up it felt the same way, so I stopped using it. and posted my review here on the B&H page. Within a day I was contacted by the folks at Angler and they wanted to make this right. I was immediately sent another 26 Boom Box, a shipping label and their assurance it will be corrected. I have to say that the folks at Angler jumped right on this and made all the necessary corrections. My thanks to Angler for taking care of your customers, you did a great job.

Boy, this was a hard find! They're out of stock just about everywhere right now...but it's easy to see why! This little piece of magic works exactly as intended and is phenomenal at redirecting air to avoid plosives into my Sennheiser MHK416. I've not had to edit out plosives ever since putting this thing to use. It has been great for my voice over work!

This is an excellent piece of equipment. Highly recommended instead of a magic arm since it keeps your camera more compact.

Seems bullet proof. I like it.
