Magic arms are perfect for setting up a remote camera when shooting an event. The older magic arms with the flip-club were not nearly as good as these current magic arms with the disk spinner lock down. Very steady and solid when locked down and mine supported a pro camera and telephoto lens easily on my first shoot. Because I was up high for my first remote shoot I bought two magic arms to support one camera, fastening one to the body and one to the lens tripod ring. Very stable. They are also made to last. Don’t forget a super clamp and safety cable and when you first get them be careful to remove the tab over the washers- I spilled the washers on the first one but having two was able to reassemble everything correctly from looking at the other magic arm. 5 |
