Magsafe Power Adapter Has Blue In The Charge

I bought several of these nifty MagSafe 2 converters in recent months so that I could use MagSafe power adapters that came with older equipment to charge newer MacBooks. Extending the useful life of the older adapters saves a bundle. Much cheaper to pop a converter on an old spare adapter. Great, common sense move.

Plug the battery directly into any power adapter, or a computer USB-A port to charge the battery with the provided cord.

Appalled that Fujifilm wants you to charge your battery in the camera rather than independently. Power surge or adapter issues can pose risk to the main board, so buying the charger is necessary. That said, this charger is very well made! I love that it has a screen to view the charge status, and the ability to charge 2 batteries simultaneously is a great feature.

Fast charged my phone in no time and does great with a USB-C laptop. The USB-C laptop power adapter allows for easy charging of the power bank. USB A option for all your non USB-C charging options. LED indicator for approximately how much charge is in the pack. This is perfect companion for business trips where there are not a lot of convenient power adapter options.  

Well, imagine turning the D/P-Tap port on any of your V-Mount batteries into a variable to high power USB C output? What a great feature to have. This Indie Pro adapter does precisely that. I can’t speak for G mount batteries but I can’t see it being any different.  The adapter is really nicely made. It’s lightweight aluminum with a blue led (that’s actually quite bright, but nothing gaffers or electrical tape can’t remedy if bothersome). The insulation on the short cord feels like FKM silicone, kind of like what some sports watches use for their bands and almost as nice as the new Anker Powerline 3 cables have. The d-tap end seems fine, it’s plastic, so I hope it’s a premium plastic and on my core batteries there’s a little snap to have it properly seated. It stays well connected when moving around.  It works perfect. It will charge all my low powered peripherals (phone/ipad etc) and provide heavy juice to my MacBook Pro M2. My mirrorless and small lights (if a usb c is available) all get powered easily.  As it’s a two way highway for power, you can use a 100 watt Anker charge plug with a 100 watt usb c cable and charge your V-mount battery. So that is also convenient.  This is possibly the most expensive item on the B&H website in this class (simple adapter). I was hesitant as there are plenty at nearly half the cost.  But it being bright red is fantastic, as I can find it anywhere amongst my pile of wires. The build seems premium (better than typical black plastic), the wire feels premium and it does what it says.  Of course, can’t beat B&H for shipping it to my front door in Canada in prompt fashion as always. Highly recommended.

Does exactly as it says without any hiccups. A plus that you can charge through the adapter as well.

I currently have the iPhone 14 with MagSafe and I also own air pods. I love that I can charge both of them in one place and it makes it easier to keep up with them. Every night I put them on the charging pad and by morning there ready to go. The iPhone charges to a 15w and the AirPods up to 5w. I also like how small it is and that it comes with its own carrying case and it’s easy to fit pretty much anywhere while traveling. This is compatible with the iPhone 14, 13, and iPhone 12 series. The box has QR codes that can be scanned for further compatibility. I love this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wireless charging station for their phone and AirPods.
