If you're reading this than you know how important it is to have a surge protector at all of your major appliances and electronic outlets. This 7-outlet protector has a fantastic build and works as it should. You just turn it on, attach your other devices to it and that's it. I think the best quality of this surge protector is that it has a thick cable that is sturdy. I recommend having one of the at every outlet that has your laptop, TV or major appliances. I needed this to get my AZ-EQ5 high enough that my refractor would be useable at a comfortable height in Alt/Az mode. This did the trick! It is very stable and raises it to just the right height. It is a f/7.5 5 APO refractor. The standard pier that comes with the mount just wasn't hight enough. I also highly recommend the AZ-EQ5 or 6 for use in AP and visual. It is really nice to have the ability to switch to Alt/Az mode for visual then go back to EQ mode for AP. I have both mounts. And for a mass produced mount they work really well plus you can use EQMOD with them. 5 |
