Have used several other brands of nd filters. most of which gave major color shifts. This is a sweet filter. 5 |

I have been a photographer all my life and used many different brands and models of both film and digital cameras. In recent years, I developed a bad back and wanted a much lighter package than heavily DSLs to carry around. iPhones, though good, don’t always cut it. I used micro four-thirds for a while but even though were too heavy. After much trial and error, I decided on the Sony DSC-RX100VA. It is light weight (about 10 ounces), makes excellent photos (I always use RAW), has a very fast lens, a real viewfinder and a small flash. Battery life is not great, but there are always some tradeoffs with any camera. Always carry at least one extra battery. After much research, I think I have the best small camera made with an ideal feature set for me. The optional pistol grip is quite useful and recommended. 5 |

I have filters by the 2 'major' brands and I the only difference I can see is the price. Quality is top notch from both..so the choice is yours I guess. 5 |

Having researched all the major brands eg Really Right stuff, Markins etcI. I finally bought this one. Coming from a Manfrotto 3 way head, this is an absolute dream to use. No worries about dropping very expensive camera gear. The arca swiss quick release plate is wonderful, no movement once the plate is secured to the ballhead. Should have bought this a long time ago 5 |

I print a lot on canvas, I've also tried most of the major brands offerings and have been satisfied. I have a favorite picture that I print on new paper or canvas so I can compare each material. Frankly this one blew me away, there is a certain radiance that the other canvas just don't have. The color gamut is amazing, the picture is rich. I realize that personal taste on such matters is a determining factor, but I recommend trying this canvas to see if it suits your needs. 5 |

I have owned all the major brands of matte boxes over the years and I settle on ARRI. Best matte box on the market. If you do any kind of handheld work you will appreciate the lightweight, modularity, and of course quality of the LMB 4x5. The only thing I can complain about is the cost of the top flag for the 4x5, but you're going to buy it anyway so suck it up, lol. 5 |

I have owned a lot of tripods over the years. All major name brands and some off brand, too. I came back to RRS for three reasons - quality, reliability, and stability. After my last tripod bit the dust due to sand and the one before that had a broken leg lock at the worst possible time, I realized there was only one I could actually trust in all conditions - RRS. This tripod is a thing of beauty, the craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. The compatibility within the RRS ecosystem is excellent, everything just works. Thats what you want when placing a high value body and lens combo on top of a tripod. Everything to work, reliably. Yeah it’s a lot of money, but it’ll last you a lifetime of shooting if you take care of it. As a side note, I was torn between this model and the TFC24L Mii. Get this one, the weight difference is negligible and the stability and added support is worth the few extra bucks. I use this with a Z8, Z 2.8 trinity, and the Z 180-600. Absolutely rock solid, zero vibrations and above all - it just works. 5 |
