Make A Thermal Transfer Printer From Scratch

There are certain materials you can’t transfer on, there are certain inks you have to use, there’s a process you have to follow to print, etc. As someone who has used a few different sub printers, I have certain expectations when it comes to them now. This printer works really well, it prints clearly without any breaks in the ink. It’s a smooth print and the transfers transfer beautifully. The program for my computer was simple to install and easy to use. It did take me a minute to figure my way through it but it didn’t take long and as soon as I figured it out it became second nature. The results are absolutely breathtaking! I have officially moved my last sub printer out of the way and have decided to use this one permanently. I love that I can print from my phone or iPad and that I can download the software onto any of my mobile devices. 10/10 recommend!

Its very fast transfer rates make it a great storage and scratch disk solution. It fits neatly under my mini Mac and matches perfectly.

If you don't buy one of these you are selling yourself short! Make sure you get the 2TB version. It was easy to install and easy to transfer all of my games to. The reaction times are seamless! I recommend this to everyone and the price is very reasonable. Well done WD, well done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned a different thermal printer model and had issues with the feeder and app. This Brother printer is perfect for my small business needs and fits my 4x6 shipping labels for packaging. It was fairly easy to set up and get started with the online and app features. So far I'm happy with the quality of the print and capabilities to make adjustments in app. I love not having to purchase ink for this thermal printer which saves me time and money!

These print well in my Casio CW-50 Thermal Printer and I don't ever recall having a bad burn with one of them. Although they are rated at 16x, I usually burn at 8x and have never had a problem.

I've never had a recording or playback problem with these DVD+Rs and the white inkjet coating works great with my Casio CW-100 thermal disk printer. Not all inkjet coatings work with the thermal printer but the coating on these DVD+Rs works perfectly.

I love this printer. Right selection of media to choose from and no ink to replenish (Thermal) you can print using the app for your phone or a USB cable to print from your computer. Compact and easy to use.

I love that it auto-senses the size of the labels when you load them, so you don't have to configure the software for the labels you select. Switching rolls of labels is fairly simple. This is a direct thermal label printer, so the labels do fade over time, especially if exposed to sunlight (compared to the longer-lasting, thermal transfer labels from much more expensive printers). The labels look fresh and crisp when newly printed and are great for printing postage or shipping labels. The compact size means it's always ready to go without taking up much desk space. Great value and a quality product!
