I absolutely love this screen! It’s going to increase my productivity so much. The screen seems brighter and sharper than my laptop. Installation was plug and play and super easy. Even on my smaller MacBook Pro, the magnets were easy to install and they came with extras. Now I’m working on getting it to also work with my Mac desktop next.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great concept. Build quality feels really solid. Easy to set up. I especially love that it's a freestanding setup. You can attach your laptop to the stand with magnets if you'd like, but I much prefer it without. And the stand and monitor are heavy enough that I don't worry about it getting knocked over. Speaking of weight... this is twice the weight of my laptop. It's not something I'm likely to toss in a bag and bring with me while I'm working at a cafe. But it folds up in such a way that the screen is facing inward, protected by the metal stand, which is perfect for stowing in a suitcase. The screen is adequately bright, but I would prefer a 400-nits option, as my wife would like to use this outdoors — not in direct sunlight, but in a space with enough ambient light to demand a brighter screen. Great value. I would pay a little more for a brighter screen, and for a higher resolution, but I'm very happy with my purchase.

Make sure this fits your laptop or netbook, but otherwise, this is tough, rugged and great sleeve for protecting your computer.

Make getting airborne a snap. Screen is bright and the transmission range it excellent. My old RC is just a backup now.

My copies are brighter and looks nicer than the ink I was using.

My second one. Make sure you are mounting into a stud in the wall.

Bought this for my wife and it works great: the computer feels secure and she can use the laptop as a second screen. It's much better, really, than the one I bought myself several years ago... and if I was so cheap, I'd probably toss mine (which works fine) and get another one of these for my desk!

It comes with a clip to attach it to a laptop computer's screen and that clip has a hole so that you can position it above the laptop's built-in camera (which is the most commonly desired placement) with the camera peering through the hole. Also comes with a mini three-legged non-adjustable stand. Can be mounted horizontally (long) or vertically (tall). While named a fill light, it could be bright enough for use as a main (key) light in low light. I'd only recommended it for use with a laptop computer because it will only be bright enough to make a noticeable difference if in close proximity to the person/subject being lit. Pleased with purchase. If you need a similar but truly bright light then you'll need something larger, heavier, and not USB-powered such as B&H# VIL132T, plus the Watson AC adapter for that, plus a tabletop light stand.

I bought this for my work laptop, and I'm not able to install any additional drivers on that computer. Therefore, I was very happy when I saw that the screen worked shortly after I plugged it into my work laptop's USB-C port. The screen quality is much better than the quality of the screen on my work laptop, and I'm very glad I made this purchase.
