Out of the box it is very slim and very versatile. Great design and construction. 5 |

This is as simple as white paper... but it's black. The paper is thick and seems durable enough. Make sure you know how much 9' is. 5 |

Best Ball Head Out There. Absolutely bomber construction. It's opened up a plethora of fine detail and tripod options. Highly recommend. 5 |

Make a great addition for using a flash, solid construction and easy to use, fit neatly in my photo bag. Only reserve is the retaining knob is a bit bulky, like to see a flat knob. 5 |

Simple, solid construction. Motion is smooth, friction locks are easy to use. Make sure you have a good tripod, between it and your camera+lens+flash rig, you are looking at significant weight. 5 |

Very Smooth Latches, Awesome Construction, Make this case in 52 (interior dimension) 5 |

Make sure your hands are clean before handling any photo paper and hold by the edges. 5 |

Downsides: Weighs a metric ton. Large enough to choke whale. One arm will become stronger than the other over time. More glass than the Louvre's Pyramid. Upsides: One arm will become stronger than the other over time. More glass than the Louvre's Pyramid. You could stun an angry Texas longhorn if you hit it with this. All your other lens will feel like travel lenses in comparison. If you are a bokeh junkie, then this lens is your pusher-man. Images are magical. Last thought: If you're looking at this lens, you know you want it, and why, and it's worth every penny...and yes, yes it is big and heavy, just like that girl in band camp you had a crush on, but you wont care one dam bit about it once you see what it can do. The bokeh is epic, and the compression with this focal length is awesome. I would buy it again without hesitation. 5 |

At the top of the pyramid you have Leica and Swarovski then everything else. Is it a bit ridiculous to by a $ pair of binoculars (or even $ ?) Maybe. Unless, of course, you are using them often and for long periods of time. I don't claim to have the visual acuity to discern the difference between the optical characteristics of the top pieces of glass. All I can say is that looking through the 10x42 HD's is a pleasure. The color clarity and zero eye strain (even after hours of use) is nothing short of impressive. I have always believed it is a better deal to buy the very best once instead of second best twice. If you want the very best you could not do better than either of these two sets of binoculars. 5 |

Great paper, has held up very well to moderate use. Make sure to have a good stand (its pretty heavy). 5 |
