Has all the ports (minus hdmi) that i need plus a few spare usb ports, clearly labeled so there's no guessing the speed/usb version. Make my desk much cleaner. No more need for a dock+usb hub. Powers my 16 mbp with no problem, even under heavy load. My ethernet network connection feels more stable than with my usbc hub i was using. It cost a bit of a premium over other, but is worth the money. 5 |

Make sure to connect directly to a computer USB port and not to a hub. To make sure the cable is well plugged in you must hear a slight click. 5 |

As others have noted, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A USB POWER ADAPTER THAT GIVES 2+ AMPS. As long as you have that, you'll be good to go. I'm using it with my M50 that I use with OBS, and I usually forget to turn the camera off between streams. I just half-press the shutter button to wake it up when I need to stream again. Never had any issues. 5 |
