The buffer speeds really makes a difference.

I'm getting about 380 images on my Z9 before the buffer fills. Raw, HE* images (~30mb/image). Buffer clears very fast, too.

The stock “foot” that comes with a tele zoom lens I own is short. Making it difficult when handholding the lens and using the longer end of the zoom to steady the lens for bird photos. The Oben plate allows my “larger hand” to wrap around it for a steadier grip of the lens for better control when shooting at the longer end of a 100-400mm lens.
