Manual Fujifilm Waterproof Camera Finepix 140

I bought this case to hold my new Fujifilm waterproof Finepix XP130 in my lifejacket pocket for a 7 day in the bush canoe trip in the Lake Kipawa region in Quebec Province. I liked the design because it seemed to offer the most physical protection with minimal material that would stay wet if it got soaked in the rain or a dumping. I used the caribiner clip to have the camera on me in camp when I wasn't wearing my lifejacket. I'd replace the plastic one with one that is easier to unhook from my belt loop. The draw-string worked well to keep the camera secure when needed. I stored an extra SD card in the bottom in a small Ziploc type bag. I liked the case for this type of trip. 5 |

the said screen protector looks good and does not seem to be tampered and is exactly what I needed for my Fujifilm FinePix X10 screen --- I actually have one(1) installed --- it is still good but; I needed a backup just in case --- who knows ? 5 |

I am using it on a pro lens, the Fujifilm XF 50-140 F2.8. I just took a chance to buy it at that price and I took a lot of shots in the forest near a river with very good results. I had no problems to install it and use it. It rotates very easily. This lens has an opening underneath the lens hood (clever) where you can insert a few fingers to adjust the position (rotation) of the polarizer. 5 |

I upgraded from a Fujifilm X-T100 to this X-T30. This camera is absolutely amazing if you shoot in manual or in automatic. I personally use manual. The controls are easy to use and placed in such a way that allows the photographer to easily adapt to shots on the fly. This camera should satisfy any pro, or beginning photographer who is looking for quality and ease of control. If you travel and need to pack-a lightweight camera this fits the bill. I will not be looking for a upgrade for a very longtime. 5 |

Very sharp and lightweight lens. I use on a Fujifilm X-E2. Makes a Beautiful Bokeh. The manual focus is really, REALLY slow (but i dont know if it is a camera or lens problem.)For example, Fujifilm X-E2 has the option of Standard autofocus (really fast!), continuous autofocus (for film) or the manual autofocus. The manual autofocus i use pressing the AF-L button - on the back) wich is great and really fast! BUT if i use the focus ring on the lens, then i need to rotate almost two full times to go from the nearest point to the farthest point. As i said, i dont know if it a camera problem, or the lens. Apart from that, the lens is GREAT! 5 |

Works great for a manual lens on my Fujifilm X-S10. Was surprised when camera body was able to give accurate exposure in auto!!!! Don't need to carry around a light meter with this combo!mThis lens is light but well made. Great glass gives sharp images! 5 |

Build quality on this lens is superb, nice metal construction with manual and zoom rings that feel buttery smooth. The aperture ring is also improved from previous Fujinon lenses. The new design is much firmer and feels solid when it clicks into place. The weather resistance is a plus since I live in a very damp climate. Image quality is what i have come to expect from fuji, excellent. Images are Tac sharp with pleasing out of focus rendering when shot wide open. This makes for very lovely portraits. Low light performance is mediocre, but I knew that going in, and was not an issue for me. Autofocus when mounted on the XT-2 is down right outstanding. Take the time to learn how to use your auto focus system and this lens will perform beautifully for you. I debated for weeks between this and the 50-140, and while I still plan on purchasing the 50-140 I am glad I purchased this lens first. Highly Recommended 5 |

Felt compelled to write a review on this lens given how pleased I am with it. I was interested in having a lens that would bridge the 16mm (which I hope to purchase when it is released) and the 50-140 which I will receive this week and basically be my everyday general photography lens (street, close up portraits, work events, family, etc.). So, it boiled down to the 23mm and the 35mm. I first bought the 23mm thinking it would be a better lens but returned it because it was a little too big and heavy for carrying everyday and I wasn't blown away by it's sharpness. On the other hand, the 35 is lighter, smaller, durable, and extremely sharp especially in the center. A couple of other reasons. First, I much prefer having the manual focus distance indicator available in the EVF instead of the engraved DOF markings via the focus clutch on the 23mm. Second, I really love the lens hood. It's small enough that I leave it on all the time, it's lightweight, and it's metal. Third, this is the first 50mm effective focal length lens I've had since moving away from DSLR gear and I forgot how much I like the focal length. Fourth, given the 50-140 is big, the 35mm will serve as a nice closeup or group portrait lens complementing the 50-140 given it's 1.4 aperture and terrific sharpness. The 23mm would have been too wide for that purpose. Fifth, it was significantly cheaper than the 23mm. Finally, given I'm not using the lens typically for action shots the autofocus speed is fine. If I needed to I would simply zone focus using the electronic manual focus distance gauge in the EVF. 5 |

This is a little camera pouch that I store my finePix camera when I want to carry it in my purse or a loose jean pocket (won't work with a tight jean pocket LOL). It has zipper compartments for the extra battery and other smaller accessories. It is a nice color (NOT BLACK) and is easy to slip out to grab a pic but keep its lens from getting scratched up in my purse or pocket. It is perfect for my needs. 5 |
