Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us. 5 |

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great. 5 |

I've had a few brands of projector over the past decade. For the price this one is great. Clear picture with manual focus. This was a sticking point for me as I tried a budget amazon projector recently that ONLY had auto focus. It would not provide a crisp, clear image in a darkened room without any external light sources. Immediately upon installing this Optoma unit, I became a fan. I also beats out the AAXA projector I had before for few years before it failed. Definitely worth a comparison while you are shopping. 5 |

I read a lot of reviews before settling on this projector, and I'm glad I got it. I'm most surprised by how good the integrated speakers are. I don't plan to use them long-term, but as a stop-gap while I finish setting up my sound system in the room they are quite satisfactory. I assumed they would be awful, but they actually sound as good as any TV speakers would. The picture on this is sharp and the colors vibrant. I'm very happy so far (though I've only watched about 4 hours of content on it. Hopefully I feel the same a year from now!) 5 |

I did my homework before settling on this projector. I was looking at 3 price points. Low ($1200), Mid ($3000), High ($6000). For the High I wanted the Sony entry laser projectors (but I think this one is even better than the entry laser projector from what I read in professional reviews). This project was at the high end of the Mids but after reading many reviews from AV professionals, when they say that this is their favorite projector and another said that the picture is almost as good as the Sony $40K laser projectors I had to try it out. And it does not disappoint. Everything that you think and expect in a great image, it has. I run at a medium bulb power and it looks awesome (in a dark room). Just read the pro reviews and you will settle on this one for the price point. I was not a fan of pixel shifting or DLP but this projector won me over. 5 |

I bought this to replace my 10-year-old Optoma HD28DSE that recently died. I was hesitant at first because there are few reviews and no decent YouTube video reviews on this model, but I decided to go for it. And wow, the image quality is incredible! With 4K content, this projector looks sharper and more detailed than my Samsung 4K TV. The brightness is also amazing. In my home theater, I have 8 smart in-ceiling can lights. With my old projector (even with a new bulb), you could barely see the screen with the lights at 50% brightness. With this new projector, I can have the lights at 100% and still get a viewable image. I wouldn’t normally watch it that way, but the fact that it’s possible is unreal to me. I've only owned this projector for one day, so we'll see how it performs in the long run, but right now, I am stunned and extremely pleased. I hope it holds up well! I can run it without worrying about bulb life hours as well which is huge. GAME CHANGER for sure. SO IMPRESSED!! 5 |

I was hesitant to pay $12,000 for a projector, but all the reviews were so good. I had my old Panasonic for 12 years and I knew this would be better but I wasn't prepared for how much better. I have a living room with large windows and I can watch Sunday afternoon football games without closing the blinds and still have a respectable image. With the blinds closed its fantastic and at night its stellar!! I was concerned that my friends wouldn't notice the upgrade but they were blown away as well. Even my wife said it looks amazing. 5 |
