Marantz 2270 Vintage Stereo Receive

using this power block to protect and run vintage Marantz 2010 stereo power amp, Sony tape deck, Sony CD player and Pioneer PL-512 turntable. upgraded to this power block for extra safety on my electronics. will buy again to pair with a 4-10 Classic 50 guitar amp and accessories and a 100w Fender Bassman head and speaker rig. rugged quality, nice long cord, easy read lights. plug and play.

I recently picked up a vintage Marantz CD player and needed new audio cables. I dropped in a local Bestbuy (which I NEVER frequent) as I figured it's just a simple RCA cable. It was like I broke the place. I got shuffled between 3 departments and in the end they didn't have a single RCA cable. I immediately, realized my mistake: I didn't go to B&H! Website had MANY options in stock, wanted a pros opinion, so I requested a callback which happened within 1 minute(!). Picked up the cable an hour later at the store. Cable was reasonably priced, superior quality and exactly what I was looking for. Morale of the story: If you want ANYTHING electronic, go to B&H. Skip the inferior box store, chains.

Bought this for my son in college when his vintage Marantz died. This amp fit the bill perfectly in price, quality and features. I'm sure the specs are audiophile but this amp is powerful enough to drive his bookshelf Polk Audio speakers and sounds great when spinning vinyl. The bluetooth capability is perfect and allows access to Apple Music playlists, podcasts, youtube audio and everything else. Volume, bass, treble and other features are only on the remote which is a very nice little unit too. Highly recommend this unit.

I had my vintage Marantz receiver repaired. I replaced the foam on my old Bose 301's. I was ready to go except I couldn't listen to all the tunes on my phone or computer. I looked at a lot of less expensive bluetooth receivers but this one, in spite of the expense, looked like it would give me the best sound. I don't know about the others I looked at but the sound I am getting is superb. It connected fast and easy.

I purchased this turntable to pair with my vintage Marantz 8B tube amp and 7T pre. The sound is simply amazing. Such value for the price. Don’t contemplate just purchase, you will be vindicated once you listen.

This Stereo 70S is so nice to look at, as are all the new Cinema styled Marantz pieces. It is in my kitchen, and as can be seen, is paired with Definitive Technology D7 bookshelf speakers (amazing gems.) Suffice to say this is a wonderful piece of audio/video jewelry, it is so gorgeous looking, and the sound is clean, very musical, and I would say accurate to the source. My wife uses this system and she loves it! HEOS connects with it perfectly, and I am so happy she is enjoying great sounding music! The fact that you can have 2 pair of speakers with this unit, either playing separately or together, is a really nice feature that I know will be used eventually. The new remotes are so nice and solid feeling as well, and the knobs on the front turn with the heft and feel of products costing much more. If you are looking for an easy to use/set up amplifier with excellent streaming capabilities, this should be at the top of your list.Thank you Marantz!

Actually kind of remarkable, made my stereo (marantz amp, ps audio dac) sound much cleaner. Like putting premium fuel in a high performance car.

I have a home cinema Denon X3700h+Marantz MM8077 that powers 7 Klipsch speakers. I listen to a lot of music in stereo mode. The sound is amazing I love it and I thought it couldn't get any better. Until I got the Marantz pm6007... This little beast is just amazing. I know I compare an AV Receiver with a stereo amplifier but everybody told me "You don't need a stereo Amplifier, the receiver has a pretty good DAC". I'm so glad I didn't listen to them. I played a song to my Denon, and in the middle of the song I switched to the Marantz PM6007. And the sound comes alive. When the Receiver plays the song it's like I put a blanket on the speaker. But when I switch to Marantz - it's like I remove the blanket, the sound becomes more alive, more crystalline, and spatial. I love it and I strongly recommend to anyone who likes clarity in the sound
