Marantz Cinema 70

Great unit for my Marantz Cinema 40...keeps it nice and cool.Happy with the unit so far!!!

This Stereo 70S is so nice to look at, as are all the new Cinema styled Marantz pieces. It is in my kitchen, and as can be seen, is paired with Definitive Technology D7 bookshelf speakers (amazing gems.) Suffice to say this is a wonderful piece of audio/video jewelry, it is so gorgeous looking, and the sound is clean, very musical, and I would say accurate to the source. My wife uses this system and she loves it! HEOS connects with it perfectly, and I am so happy she is enjoying great sounding music! The fact that you can have 2 pair of speakers with this unit, either playing separately or together, is a really nice feature that I know will be used eventually. The new remotes are so nice and solid feeling as well, and the knobs on the front turn with the heft and feel of products costing much more. If you are looking for an easy to use/set up amplifier with excellent streaming capabilities, this should be at the top of your list.Thank you Marantz!

Works great, I use the T8 with my Marantz Cinema 50, it was reaching temperatures of 100 degrees with the T 8 it normally keeps it at 87. I have it set on 85, and have it set on smart mode with a fan speed of three.

The new Marantz Cinema 70S is a triumph of design and function. If you have a small media / TV room, it might be all you need if you just run a 2.1 setup (front left, front right and powered subwoofer). Pair it with premium bookshelf speakers and you have a system that can handle music and movies wonderfully. The A-B amplification is warm and detailed, suitable for music. It has 3 4K HDMI inputs and 3 8K HDMI inputs, for some extra future-proofing. And it is luxurious box. Marantz has fully embraced being a luxury brand, and this product shows it. It's a solid unit. Could last one 20 years. It's seriously good.

It’s now 20 days since getting the Marantz CD 60 with about 70 hours of running in. I think it’s getting to its full potential soon. The soundstage is very wide, instruments precisely placed and you can almost feel where the musicians are performing. It extracts the tiniest bit of information and relays them faithfully. When playing DSD files I was totally amazed. The music rivaled and bested my SACDs! Marantz knows it’s music and thus machine had been tuned to perfection. Christmas came early this year.

I use this primarily for video on my FX9 and FX3 when budget doesn't allow for cinema lenses, it's a great compromise compared to carrying around a 24-70 and 70-200. Not having to swap lenses in doc situations is amazing and having an f2 for most of that range is incredible. I especially love it for interview set ups. It's pretty amazing what this lens can do for the price and size.

This replaced an old Marantz. The Sony is doing a fine job and cost far less than the one it replaced.

Love that it works with my *ancient* Marantz MD660 audio recorder!
