I have a home cinema Denon X3700h+Marantz MM8077 that powers 7 Klipsch speakers. I listen to a lot of music in stereo mode. The sound is amazing I love it and I thought it couldn't get any better. Until I got the Marantz pm6007... This little beast is just amazing. I know I compare an AV Receiver with a stereo amplifier but everybody told me "You don't need a stereo Amplifier, the receiver has a pretty good DAC". I'm so glad I didn't listen to them. I played a song to my Denon, and in the middle of the song I switched to the Marantz PM6007. And the sound comes alive. When the Receiver plays the song it's like I put a blanket on the speaker. But when I switch to Marantz - it's like I remove the blanket, the sound becomes more alive, more crystalline, and spatial. I love it and I strongly recommend to anyone who likes clarity in the sound 5 |

This Stereo 70S is so nice to look at, as are all the new Cinema styled Marantz pieces. It is in my kitchen, and as can be seen, is paired with Definitive Technology D7 bookshelf speakers (amazing gems.) Suffice to say this is a wonderful piece of audio/video jewelry, it is so gorgeous looking, and the sound is clean, very musical, and I would say accurate to the source. My wife uses this system and she loves it! HEOS connects with it perfectly, and I am so happy she is enjoying great sounding music! The fact that you can have 2 pair of speakers with this unit, either playing separately or together, is a really nice feature that I know will be used eventually. The new remotes are so nice and solid feeling as well, and the knobs on the front turn with the heft and feel of products costing much more. If you are looking for an easy to use/set up amplifier with excellent streaming capabilities, this should be at the top of your list.Thank you Marantz! 5 |
