Marine Speakers Or Wireless Speaker

I decided to dispose of my hi fi equipment that I had used for years, CD player, amp, pre-amp, tuner & 2 large speakers in our lounge. I acquired a new iPod touch & discovered I could stream the music wirelessly to any Sonos speaker in the house using our BT wireless router. I downloaded the Sonos software onto my iPod & connected the new Sonos 5 speaker to my wireless network using my laptop, all very simple & straightforwardly, even for me. I could not be more pleased with the result, both for the ease of use & the sound quality. In the future I shall look to acquire further speakers for other rooms in the house, as the system is so easy to use.

I used this, as well as the Samson Concert 288 wireless microphone system, for an all day event with about 100 people under a large tent. I was able to connect a PC audio (with video going to a large flat screen TV), two wireless mics, an XLR input from a solo musician's system and Bluetooth connected to my cellphone to play music. I could easily switch between inputs and adjust tone. The sound output was good, with the sturdy speaker stands elevating the speakers above all heads. The system is very portable, with the amp/mixer snapping into the side of one speaker and a small storage space in the other speaker for power and speaker cables. The two speakers slide together for easy transport, except the comprehensive instructions did not tell me how to get them apart. They are shipped with thin cardboard between them so you have to keep hitting them to slide them apart. After the first time they are separated and the cardboard removed, they slide together easier. My only concern is that the amp/mixer locks into the side of one of the speakers, leaving all of the face exposed. It would be better if there were some sort of panel to cover and protect all of those controls and inputs.

For those that are "shocked" that the wireless speaker does not work with their player, please learn to read. The title on the Roku site specifically says, "Introducing the first speakers designed exclusively for Roku TV™". Couldn't be clearer. These speakers were a breeze to set up - just follow the instructions carefully and don't blast ahead with how you think it should go. Love the sound, look and ease of use. Music streamed from my iPhone sounds rich and full. Please come out with a matching subwoofer ASAP, so I can fully enjoy thunderous bass in action flix. Thanks Roku!

I bought this less than a month ago and I know that this is also a great sound speaker like other Bose to my computer and wireless speakers that connect to the internet and bluetooth, Thanks Bose products.

This is a truly useful item for setting up powered speakers on the road. Usually I place the powered speakers close to an outlet in the corner of the stage and/or hall. This 6' length is perfect for such a setting. In addition I use Alto wireless receivers to cut down on XLR cables - this multiple outlet allows me to power the speaker, the wireless receiver and a DJ light all at the same time. What's really cool is - when the speaker, or light or receiver is on, an LED indicator light lets you know something is turned on. When everything is turned off, the LED light goes off too. So I know when I've forgotten to turn of the speaker at the end of the night. This outlet is built tough and can take the abuse of the road - I highly recommend them for powered speakers!

This is the perfect ideal adapter for using active speakers in a wireless capacity. Specifically, I use the Sennheiser wireless systems to send the signal to the speakers remotely. This adapter is for the needed for the Sennheiser transmitter/receiver packs for providing constant power verses using batteries. I hide the transmitter/receiver packs on top of each speaker out of site from the public and being able to plug them in to the same cord as the active speaker.

I am totally happy with my speaker bundle. I can move the wireless speakers next to me on the table & hear the shows without having the tv up loud.

I am in love with the Sonos Spaekers. Currently owned Sonos Roam Portable Smart Speaker, 2 Sonos One Gen 1 Wireless Speakers, 2 Sonos One Gen 2 Wireless Speakers, 3 Sonos One SL Wireless Speakers and 1 Sonos 5 Wireless Speaker through my house. Interested in be buying near future another Sonos 5, Sonos Amplifier and Sonos Subwoofer.

I got my Wireless Speaker's a few month's ago and they are Great.

We were looking for a new travel size binoculars as we cruise Transatlantic & Transpacific. Our marine binoculars from West Marine were great while boating but are heavy and take up took much carry on space. The guy behind the counter was fantastic, not pushy or rushing us to make a decision. He showed us various magnifications/sizes and describing the differences with each one. We chose the Vortex 8x42 Viper HD because they ticked most all of the boxes we were looking for at the price that didn't break the bank. We love the size and weight, the focus wheel is slow & precise. They are exactly what we were looking for. Love B&H - always professional and wonderful to deal wit.
