This footswitch works seamlessly for punch ins and the two add'l switches make the recording process much more convenient. I'm still learning things the DP-03SD can do but am very happy with the purchase. Only wish the footswitch connector was beefier, looks like it could break easily. I'm using strain relief for prevention. 5 |

A must have gadget for the player recordist. This footswitch is perfect rfor doing pucnh ins and out while your playing and recording tracks at the same time. Easy to use. Make sure you take the batteries out when not in use for awhile. 5 |

I write magazine articles and use the RC-3F 3-Way Footswitch with my Fascam DR-40 to record and transcribe interviews. These two pieces of equipment make recording and transcribing conversations about as easy as it is going to get. For my money, it's a perfect combination. I don't plan to use anything else for the foreseeable future. 5 |

6 months later it's on 18hrs/day, no problems. If you still need VGA, this will work well for you. Good color out of the box, no complaints. 5 |
