This speaker is used as a center channel speaker in my home theatre system. I didn't have a center channel speaker before and was advised this is the most important speaker for a home theatre system - I don't think that is true when you have a good pair of front speakers that are properly calibrated. This added a bit to the overall sound and surround sound experience, but if I was broke, I could easily live without it. I found it hard to find speakers that were not too tall as I didn't want the speaker to block any of the TV screen. These fit perfectly with my setup. A special note for Canadian customers, B&H makes ordering from Canada very easy and there are no hidden costs (or any costs for that matter upon product arrival). This is my fourth home Theatre from BOSE. Love, the fact that there’s only one speaker involved. I did purchase the two matching rear speakers and the subwoofer. It makes such a big difference, it’s just like you’re in a movie theater watching A movie on the big screen 5 |
