Mate 10 Pro Camera Stabilization

When I picked up the Mate 10 pro their wasn't much cases. An employee showed me the UAG case it's strong and protective yet still light. No need for a OtterBox which is more expensive and heavy.

This is my third GO PRO camera and by far the best. They have solved all the problems I had with the first two. The video with gimbal stabilization  make the realistic video awesome. Dont sit on the fence, go get one now.

This camera paired with Lumix S pro 24-70 or Sigma 24-70 art lens is real deal for video makers. Image stabilization is fantastic. I have never had a chance to enjoy handheld filming so much before. This camera offers various ways to setup and control focus and you can even program your focus ring behavior on s pro glass. Programmable buttons are way to go. Sit down with it for a while and you'll have a highly personalized beast tool in your hands. At first I was hesitant, but after using it for a few days on busy jobs I decided to give auto ISO a chance and oh boy it did not disappoint. Smooth transition and adaptation to rapidly changing light is impressive, and it never went beyond 6400 and maintained great manual/ hybrid focusing experience using both touchscreen and smooth ring on a pro glass and not so smooth ring on sigma 24-70. Overall I'm happy with it, this is a step up from m43 system. Battery life is great. And you don't have to break a bank to buy expensive cards. I edit lots of footage coming from people using latest Mirrorless cameras from other makers and non of the footage comes close to what I see from this camera especially in image stabilization department. It makes editors life much easier too.

I am an independent musician and when I am NOT recording at a professional studio, I have a set-up at home to do rough drafts/etc. I have the MXL Mic Mate Pro hooked up to my MXL microphone. This Mic Mate Pro provides phantom power & connects directly to my macbook. No reason to have a weak tube pre-amp & millions of feet of XLR cords anymore. PROS: Super Easy Set Up (I can plug it in & record), Super Light Weight (easy to travel with, seeing how I use a macbook, I might record at home, a friend's house, a vacant warehouse, etc), Headphone & Gain Controls directly on the piece (this is a HUGE improvement compared to other XLR/USB converters, including other MXL products), Sound is super clean and sometimes I will record vocals at home to have them mixed and mastered at a professional studio - This saves me money, as I do not need to pay to record my vocals and just have the mixing/mastering which is going to be time I'd be paying for normally anyway. CONS: I feel like the Headphone Volume should be able to go a little louder. I have to control that on Adobe Audition (the program I record in) if I need it to go louder than what is capable on tool itself.

The product works great! I upgraded from the Tile Mate to the Pro and have had success with both! I like the availability to change batteries with the Pro.

Very useful in allowing sub-mini audio products as for DSLR video to mate with a pro-level video camera.

Have a pair of excellent Zeiss 10 power, but the image stabilization on these makes them seem 2x closer.
