I've owned my Marantz Model 30 integrated amplifier for about 2 years now and my opinion is absolutely definitely positive. I used this amplifier, ten hours a day, every day for months on end and it barely gets warm. I run B&W 805 Matrix speakers with a B&W PV-1 sub, connected with the high level connectors, to the amplifier's speaker terminals, as recommended by B&W. This amplifier is, in my opinion, sensational. It's sound is detailed, rich, beautifully expressive, conveying every nuance of the music in a convincing and natural way. Any stops in the music are wonderfully black, it has tone controls, which can be switched in, if I want extra hefty when listening to some of my 70s rock where the bass is recorded a bit too quietly. I've also run B&W 802 Matrix S2, with this amp and it drives them with ease. Twice, stupidly, I have accidentally connected the speaker + and - incorrectly but the amp, just quietly shut itself down with no damage. I really love this amp and could not imagine anything better and would not, ever take the risk of trying to improve on it. I wish I could get people on the Hi-Fi forum I'm on, (What Hi-Fi) to consider a Marantz Model 30 instead of their usual choices because I don't think there's anything out there that approaches this amp at this price. It sounds like an amp that costs at least twice it's price. Absolutely Sensational. 5 |

Was thinking that we needed a whole new matrix amplifier, this fixed our issue perfectly. Doesn't matter if they are handheld mics or lapel mics, this allows us to seamlessly work 4 new microphones with our existing 4 channel amplifier/matrix/mixer. 5 |

From time to time, I need the use the guitar input of my amplifier for a second microphone input - this gizmo enables me to do that withous issues. 5 |

I bought a pair of these to use with a guitar amp simulator. They sound great and allow for getting the amplifier and effects tone without having to crank up the volume to concert levels. 5 |

In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine. 5 |

I use this mic to record acoustic guitar because of the way it picks up percussive elements of picking. So its uses go beyond just miking drums. 5 |

l looked all over for a great bag to protect my classical axe (guitar) from the elements, banging around and general handling. This stylish bag does all that and more. Additionally, all the wonderful pockets give one plenty of room to store almost anything you will ever need. Lastly, there is a Velcro strap that holds down the neck of the guitar. No need to fear the instrument accidentally falling out of the padded case. 5 |
