Max Distance For Displayport Cable

The Pearstone USB C to DisplayPort 4k Cable (15') is a super long well made cable. I primarily use this cable to run a preview monitor from my MacBook pro to a client or other crew member. It keeps extra people out of the main area where I am working and it does a great job of this since it's so long. There isn't a ton to say about a cable but this is built well, supports 4k, and is super long so I'm happy. (I received this item in exchange for my honest review)

These work pretty well. Haven't had a chance to really test the max distance.

It's always better to have single cable, than to use an adapter and a cable. This one does the job of connecting a DisplayPort to HDMI device.

It is what it is. It's a Thunderbolt Cable, which is a hardware interface that combines PCI Express and DisplayPort into one signal.

Accustomed all these years to a max of 55-250mm lens and obtaining good results, I was hesitant in obtaining an extra distance lens. However, I am fortunate to have my viewing point ( my flat) overlooking the Bay of Gibraltar to carry out my hobby of photographing ships and more ships, whether arriving here or going over the Bay to the Spanish port of Algeciras. I finally opted to upgrade. My main tools are Canon but I am equally confident of Sigma products. All I will say is that I should have bought it earlier. Taking it out of the box and connecting to a Canon EOS 800D DSLR was a joy to handle, obviously being more weighty but firm. It did not take long to read the simple instructions on how to operate the lens and start taking a few test photos. Definitely a quantum step to my previous lens, distance -wise and clear and sharp. Yes, it is slightly heavy and needs a collar to spread the weight via a monopod / tripod, but its accuracy and mitigation (for hand shake) is pretty awesome. No doubt there will be other lens that may surpass this one, but I am happy to use what for me is the right tool for the right job I am carrying out. No more or less, and it is certainly value for money. As to the sales service of B&H, well, very impressed with delivery ( by courier ) on date expected and the packing. Highly recommended.

I use this cable in a distance cable, it's perfect for it been flexible. And it's durability is awsome.

My new computer has one HDMI and one DisplayPort output and I have two monitors I want to use.� This DisplayPort cable lets me use the second monitor now.� The 3' length is more than enough without having extra coiled up. My screen is 2056x1080.� Since this cable is 4K rated, it works great for my extra wide but not 4K large screen.

I don't know what the haters have been smoking, but obviously they haven't educated themselves... I've been using the DisplayPort 1.2 setting in the monitor menu and using a DisplayPort 1.2+ capable cable since 2018 with no issues running the monitor at 4k at 60hz since 2018. I think the haters haven't even opened their settings menus to confirm if they're using the highest version of DisplayPort on their monitor lol. It takes 15 seconds to navigate to the menu, if it's not working then switch your DP cable because you're probably rocking a 1.1 or less version that's been sitting in your closet for too long. This is one of the best value 4k monitors besides using a small 4k value tv. It has impressive color range and accuracy with 10 bit color vs the usual 8 bit you'll see even modern tvs still using, and if you haven't made the switch to 4k or even 1440p yet and wonder if the difference is worth it, trust me I have a fine pair of glasses on and the difference in clarity is night and day resolution wise for reading text like this and detail for movie viewing is quite nice and the viewing angles are amazing for value LED, the next step up from here is getting a higher refresh rate 4k oled for me eventually.

I needed to a cable to connect my laptop to TVs. Works Perfectly. Even has sound. Used Displayport to HDMI. I haven't tried HDMI to Displayport.
