So, this is the first time I've used a transmitter that allows you to change power settings without touching the lights, so forgive me if this is just an Old Man Yelling at Cloud type of review. I do feel it could be a bit more intuitive as far as labels and showing what button does what. I have accidentally turned on the modelling light when I didn't want to, and can't do it when I do want to, so I'm still walking over to the battery pack more than I should. Also, I know this is a niche problem, but be forewarned: If you have a Pentax 645z, you won't be able to go over 1/60 shutter speed with this transmitter. I asked Elinchrom about it, and they said that you can only go to 1/125 -- the max sync speed on the 645z -- with one specific model of Pentax speedlight. It's kind of a moot point because you can use leaf shutters with the 645z, but also, it's kind of not because I can use the max sync speed and my non-Elinchrom lights by using my dirt cheap Yongnuo triggers and speedlights.

It needs two AA batteries, but it did not need any further set up to sync with Godox SK300II monolights. If you turn your lights on first, switching the transmitter on turns off the modeling lights. Just turn them back on or turn on the transmitter first.

I use this to trigger my studio monolights. The transmitter goes on my camera and is not too heavy or bulky. The reciever goes on one of the monolights, using the included cord to hang it on the handle so it does not have to dangle from the sync cord. The sync cord includes a 1/4 plug adapter which plugs into the sync terminal. Only one reciever is needed because the flash activates the optical slave on the other light. I've used them on the past two weekends, and they are very nice. I formerly activated both monolights by using an on camera flash unit, but using the trigger is lighter, doesn't wear out my flash unit, and I don't have to wait for the on camera flash to recycle before taking another shot.

I needed an extension cable for my remote wireless release.� I could not plug the transmitter directly into the 10 pin connector, I am using a sync cable.� I couldn't plug both the sync cable and the wireless remote transmitter.� The extension allowed me to use the remote release.� The cable is high quality, definitely a good buy.

I have 2 Sony RX100 M5 and 1 Sony RX10 M4. These cameras have Sony's High Frame Rate feature which allows to record approximately 7 second clips at 480 or 960 frames per second. The HFR feature allows you to trigger and record the next 7 seconds or the last 7 seconds. In this case I wanted to trigger all 3 cameras at once getting the last 7 seconds from 3 angles. I purchased 3 Revo VRS-Multi-W units and used all three receivers and only one of the triggers. You have to sync them together by turning on the transmitter and holding the record button. While continuing to hold the record button on the transmitter turn on each receiver. Then release the record button. At that point one transmitter will trigger three receivers. The Revo customer service representation advised me that I should not count on all three camera being trigger precisely at the same time e.g. all 3 videos starting on the exact same frame. For my purposes the difference are trivial if any, For standard frame rate movies I always sync them anyway in PowerDIrector using sync by audio...

Very reasonable price for this sync cord, which I use with a Calumet 4-channel wireless receiver/transmitter combo on a Dynalite strobe pack.

No problems so far, works great, sync is fine.
