If you prefer a smaller set up, it is finally possible to use this thing without a rig for run and gun shoots. Smaller meaning no rig, this body is a bit bigger than prev. New screen works even in sun. Battery life is MUCH better than original 6K but you'll still need a bunch of spare batteries and/or the battery grip. If you are going to rig it out w cage, matte box, v-mount, monitor then the regular 6K G2 would probably be fine for you. Love Blackmagic image quality!

This works great and provides exactly what you need for run-and-gun shoots or interview setups. I wish it was cheaper, but it does seem high quality.

This is a great versatile light especially for a run-and-gun shoots, however, it broke after two months of use. So why 5 stars? I reached out to Lumecube and their support team responded immediately. After providing a few pieces of information they shipped me a brand new unit which showed up a few days later. It's frustrating when gear breaks during a shoot but more frustrating when a vendor won't take responsibility for a bad unit. Knowing Lumecube stands by their gear insures I will use more of their products in the future.

My video production jobs varying in scale, from run and gun shoots in tight situations to talking head interviews. Regardless, this tripod out preforms any tripod I have used. It's highlight feature is its speed lock. It's a must have in any video situation. Less hassling, more shooting. Great product.

Love this FF. Great kit for run & gun or higher end productions. It has served well on all of my shoots! I'm a big fan of the app as well, that adds an additional dynamic that I really appreciate. Great workhorse.
