Media Room Paint Ideas

I use this paper for images I digitally paint and/or work on in mixed media. The weight of VFA paper gives me a lot of latitude in how I choose to use it, and the prints are rich in color and clarity. Just make sure your printer can print paper this thick.

This is the real stuff. Just used in a room with new paint... held my black out drapes up... did not remove any paint. No residue left behind either. Just getting ready to order some more.

I bought this because it has Atmos sound, can't believe how good my media room sounds now.

Our association holds frequent meetings and training via ZOOM and other virtual platforms. So much that this paint was our attempt at dedicating a room as our studio. YAY!! The week after we painted we held our first meeting with 5 people comfortably seated with a virtual background during the meeting. I read reviews and watched pro and amateur videos on application. I bought 2 gallons and used 1/2 gallon. Some of the reviews read that the paint was thin. I used a paddle stir on my drill and did not feel the paint was thin at all. I coated a power blue room with the paint, no primer. 2 coats and it's perfect!! Highly recommend this paint!!

My color grading room is 4m by 5m. It is suitable for painting only the wall. It is not enough to paint the ceiling, so you have to purchase an additional one.

Yes, the paint is expensive but it did a miracle to my color grading room. Harsh reflections are gone, I can accurately dial in brightness/saturation in footage without being fooled by room light. Highly recommended! I only needed 1 gallon for my entire room (that had 3 base coats of white primer).

Built well and plenty of room for whatever sleeve or case you choose to store the media in.
