Medieval Horn Brass Instrument

As an overdub voice artist, blogger and musician (brass), I was very surprised at the response from this mic by Audio-Technica. It's very sensitive, it's dead-easy to use and install, and... well, where can you find a good-sized voice mic of this quality for less than $ NOTE: I'm using this as a spoken voice mic, NOT an instrumental/singing mic. As a horn player, I'm reluctant to put the horn mojo on a mic that's not in a studio, as I've blown lesser mics out before. This mic is specifically designed for voice. However, accoustic stringed instruments and voice (check your levels) should probably be fine, but again, I've not tested this. 5 |

Need I say any more? It works!! Excellent reproduction of Brass Instrument Sounds! How can this be possible at sub $100?? 5 |

This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5 |

Does what it says, very well made (physically) even pretty good to look at as far as a horn goes. 5 |

The difference between a branch and a horn is the razor binoculars 5 |

Took this lens out for a couple of days thinking I would go back and forth between this and other lenses. Wonderful for tight confines of Medieval European streets and squares. During my photo excursions I never changed lenses. My very minor frustration is that if the sun is in the frame there is a good chance that it will blow out some of the highlights. A neutral density filter or lowering the exposure setting helps in these instances. Love the lens 5 |

It is light, and makes a heavy super telephoto lens feel like a feather. It makes ball heads seem medieval. 5 |
