Meraki Mx Flashing White Light

This is a very nice headlamp, without two levels of white light, a red light and a flashing red light.  Having the battery pack on the back makes it much easier to balance and the straps are adjustable over a wide range.

Bright white light is very bright. Red/red-flashing light is cool -- not sure if I'll ever use it. Good fit and balance (with batteries in back). Lightweight and comfortable. Looks suitably geeky. Very happy with my purchase.

but it is unsettling to have the upstream light flashing

Brighter than I expected on high white mode. We must cycle through all 5 modes, but white has 3, than red (flashing red is included). I hand hold it to cross the street so people can see me and I don't hit the curb. Also helps to avoid puddles in the street and toys in the driveway! AA convenience is King!!

Outperforms a Meraki of similar specs. Impressed so far!

I was really tempted to get the white one to match my Mac better. I almost pulled the trigger and went with it. However, after reading dozens of negative reviews about how disgusting it gets due to the poor cover material absorbing your fingers' sweat, I decided to go with the black one. I have two original MX Masters but I wanted to try the feature that allows you to drag files between two different computers. And although it works, it is not a very smooth process. But the improved side scrolling wheel and side buttons were the main selling points for me overall. They are much better than the ones of the original MX. Highly recommended but avoid the white one!

Great size, love the built in light (it has flashing mode for some reason, just if you need to give someone a seizure on a film set?) I have always wanted this Porta Brace bag but kept talking myself out of it. I finally pulled the trigger on buying one and I'm glad I did. Sometimes I have a small lens in it if i am shooting an event with a smaller camera, but on a full set I kit it out with all the tools I'll need. for camera department. If you are on the fence about it, do it.

This flashing is amazing. The variable light settings to the strobe. No concerns on purchasing the light at all. I would love to give one to every person in my family. BUY IT YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!

Very useful product because it is not like the regular flash. It has several functions that allow you to change such like: dimmer, lighter and even flashing. The flash level is used still not has a very strong light like regular flash. The image looks more nature light and hard to tell that is use flash or not.

With the press of a button-focus, zoom (variable), and flashing light showing camera is filming. It is so easy, light weight, hook up in seconds. This is a must have item. At the cost is inexpensive compared to the older version of this kind of equipment. Good investment and will make you smile.
