The build quality of mine (M645-to-Nik) was first class. No play at all... the adapter attached to the back of the lens with no tightness or looseness whatsoever... just a satisfying and reassuring click when engaged or disengaging the adapter. Install, tighten and you'll never buy any other mount again. The magnet in this thing is like no other. I just bought two more !!

I use this grip on my Nikon Z6 and saw no need to pay twice the price for the Nikon version. I also use a Vello grip on my Nikon D500.
