I bought this to replace the 3ft xlr power cable for my Mesa Boogie quad preamps fu2 footswitch. It does the job perfectly in comparison to the 3ft one bc not all the switches were synced w the quad when activated. I would highly recommend this for quality (so far)and price beating out another site by half. 5 |

I use this mic in front of my Mesa Lonestar to get my guitar through our band's PA. Of course, the exercise of micing an amp takes a bit of trial and error regardless of which microphone you buy, but once I found the sweet spot, the e609 did the rest. Through the PA mains (and through recordings), I've come to find the representation of my amp's tone is very true and clear. I'd totally recommend this mic to anyone looking to get their guitar transmitted through their sound system. I'd buy another one of these in a second; all I need is another amp =) 5 |

In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine. 5 |
