I’ve tried a few mesh systems but none with a cable modem. This one was way easier to setup and faster than the others. Glad to have WiFi 6 and better hardware without the monthly charges forever. 5 |

I have this set up as a mesh router (with a wired backhaul) with the RT-AX88U Pro and I have yet to have to reboot either router. I am also running with Merlin Asuswrt firmware and could not be happier with my current wifi setup! Everything just works and works well. I have lots of IOT devices and multiple computers, laptops, printers, phones and tablets, about 30 devices total and I have had no issues at all. I am coming from the RT-AC68U, with another Asus router in mesh mode, which would occasionally drop the printer and I would have to restart the printer fairly often to recconect. That issue is gone now. I am able to stream 2 4K TVs simultaneously while surfing the web and game online all without any problems. Currently I have only 2 wifi 6 devices that both run at close to 900 MB wirelessly up and down, with Fios Gigabit service 1 gig up and down. I've had my current mesh setup running at least 6 months with only having to do quarterly firmware update. No need to reboot the routers in between updates, it has been incredibly stable with a strong signal everywhere in my 2600 sq. ft. house and yard. I highly recommend Asus routers! 5 |

Switching from a 5 year-old mesh Google Wifi setup, I'm now experiencing almost double the speeds and much better coverage in my house. Very much worth the upgrade. 5 |

The NETGEAR WiFi Mesh Range Extender EX6250 was so easy to setup and did exactly what I needed it to do: extend the coverage of my Spectrum Router. 5 |

Delivers over 260 mbps in my home cable linksys / mesh wifi setup, without getting into advanced network tweaking, etc. Plug in and run speed test... that's all 5 |

The setup on this is super easy. I was a little worried the mesh points would be troublesome to setup, but all I had to do was plug the router in, then plug the mesh points into the wall. Did a quick update on the touch screen and everything was perfect right off the bat. I have one mesh point setup with 5g that's close to the router and another mesh point setup with 2g because it's a little further away. You don't really need to do much. The app is alright for what it is, it's a little pain in a butt since it points you to connect to a wifi network through the app, but it doesn't connect right. You have to actually open your wifi settings manually to connect. Not a big deal. The app also assumes you know a lot about this stuff but if you're looking at this router I guess you already do. 5 |

After researching all the available consumer-grade mesh WiFi systems out there, I settled on Ubiquiti. For the same price as many of the consumer-grade systems, I've been able to setup a professional grade mesh WiFi network with ethernet backhaul that covers our entire house, and the outside areas we use regularly. I've had a few issues with other parts of the Ubiquiti system, but the access points have been flawless. If you have the experience, knowledge or patience to get a UniFi system setup, it's absolutely the best choice you can make for a mesh WiFi system that covers your house. 5 |
