Metal Locking Storage Drawers

Very well-made; solid metal and firm-locking hardware. 5 |

These drawers work great for storage on rack systems and are quite a bit less expensive than other similar models. I've got 10 of these now and will continue to use them to outfit my studio and mobile trailer. ... 5 |

I have 4 of these. They took the place of random storage in plastic bags and the bottom of drawers. I like them because they are waterproof and secure, yet easy to open without breaking a fingernail, unlike some other competitors. Not expensive and highly recommended. 5 |

Great card storage device! I was always searching through desk drawers and camera bags for lost cards. But no more! 5 |

These are just perfect for me for moving slides from trays to a much more compact yet searchable storage that can go in either file drawers or binders. 5 |

I use this with Canon 600EX-RT strobes and Cheetah CL-360 with umbrellas of various sizes. I have looked for a unit that was built solid and had a positive locking ability to stop a heavy umbrella from causing the unit to drop when attached. This is the unit! It locks down securely since it is build out of metal and not plastic. The two parts have matching teeth so they form a positive connection and the locking screw will not over tighten causing the unit to strip due to its metal construction. I am very satisfied with it's performance. I will be buying more now that I have field tested this unit. My VAL (voice activated lightstand) highly approves of this one. Soon I will be testing it with my westcott 7' parabolic umbrellas for the ultimate test! 5 |

If you use a flash bracket, the metal base with the 1/4 20 female makes the difference. Simply tightening the screw stresses the plastic base of the Nikon cord and screw tension alone can break it (did to me, twice, and the Nikon cords are EXPENSIVE). On the Vello, the screw anchors into metal. The short, coiled cord stays out of the way and is plenty long enough for the swing from portrait to landscape. The ridiculous monstrosity that is camera, bracket and high-mounted off-camera flash is bad enough without a cord flopping around. Short is GOOD! The locking lever on the flash engages the shoe. The locking leaver on the shoe engages the camera. None of the problems I've had on any of the half dozen alternatives I've tried happen here. 5 |

I bought the five pack and am completely happy. The five pack makes the price come down to $9.19 each, with is a good deal. This works great with my Nikon SB-700 and SB-910 and my LumoPro LP180 speedlights. The locking pin works perfectly with all of these speedlights. I also just got the Frio cold shoe. That gives a greater sense of security since theres an additional securing mechanism besides the locking pin, but in fact the ProMedia is every bit as secure. The bottom mount opening is 1/4-20, which is fine for my needs. Its solid metal, not plastic with a metal-insert mount. As long as you dont cross-thread, this should last a long time. 5 |

This all metal bracket has an impressive angle, locking ability, uses grooves to lock in the angle. I plan on using it when I want one flash to bounce off the ceiling and the other two point forward. The shoe is held in place with a hex bolt that’s on extremely tight, but can be rotated with a wrench. Kind of wish they used thumb screws but I still highly recommend this thing as it is built like a tank. 5 |

The metal connectors are sturdy and I feel secure in their ability to hold onto my Hasselblad 500 c/m. The only suggestion I might have is to not use the plastic locking covers over the metal connectors if you're using it on a Hasselblad, because the one on the right side of the camera will catch on the winding crank on the A12 film back. I'm actually going to remove the fabric lanyards (to which the plastic locking covers are permanently joined), leaving only the metal connectors; then I am going to thread through a different shoulder strap I purchased that does not have those plastic locking covers that catch. I have to stress that this is not a design flaw on the part of Op/Tech; the engineering is sound overall and apparently compatible for plenty of other cameras. It's just an unfortunate issue for the Hasselblad but not a total loss, as it was the metal connectors I was really after, and which I will still be using albeit with a different shoulder strap. 5 |
