I am sure the 608 I received was not typical of the Manfrotto quality expected when purchasing this unit. I had an issue with the pan axis not rotating smoothly unless ALL pan resistance was removed. The head would catch in one location when any amount of pan resistance was applied, also making a slight metal on metal sound as it would pass the one spot while panning. This issue was apparent immediately after un-boxing with out any camera mounted on top. 1/16/21. I contacted B&H customer service, spawning an email chain with a series of investigative questions. B&H has sent an RMA. I can't say enough about how well B&H handled this issue. I will update with a review after receiving the new replacement 608. 5 |
