Metal Phone Holder For Car

I would hop into the car, but never found right spot for phone. I would put phone on car dash shelf, drive around a corner, not speeding mind you, and phone would fly across car, or end up under seat or down side of seat or wherever! There would always be that annoying charger cord getting tangled and in the way and usually ends up broken. But now….hop in car, easily place phone on holder - it stays there no matter how many potholes I drive over and…..the best part…..it charges on holder! The cord is concealed with little clips so no more annoying cords in the way. Absolutely love it! And because it is a permanent fixture, it counts as handsfree.

I searched seemingly forever for a phone holder for my car. Nothing worked. Decided to check with Peak Design because of the quality and innovation of their products line. Bingo! This is high quality and worked great. You just need to follow their instructions and guiding information to a tee. The only thing I regret is that I did not order the charging car mount because of the price but now I wish I did! This product works well, and pleases me aesthetically. PD also has accompanying videos for most of their products. Recommend to watch those before and after you purchase as they are informational (and quite entertaining too!) and answer a lot of FAQ. Highly recommend!

This is single handed the best mobile phone holder for your filming with an iPhone (as well as your car, boat, head or just about anywhere) If only they made a connector that attached the phone magnetically to the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 gimble and my life would be complete. I have faith that the genius’s at Peak Design are already onto it

This phone holder is perfect for my car. It is just like it was demonstrated in a video I watched. It is adjustable to fit almost any size cup holder. I don't have to stick something on my dash. It is easy to slip my phone in and out. And it has a hole to thread my power cord through, so no mess in the console of my car. (Note: I bought a retractable power cord to make things even better.) I highly recommend this product.

Bought the case and bike phone holder as a replacement for another brand that broke. Got the car holder as my vehicle did not have one. Bike holder is great. Holds tight. Easy to get off.

I bought the case along with car and bike mount. Love that it simply magnetises onto car holder and safely and easily attaches and detaches from bike mount. Slim design while providing great phone protection. The ONLY thing I would change is to offer more colours as black phone covers are common and I have had someone accidentally pick mine up. Would love it to come in orange or green

Charging my cell phone in the car was a problem because the normal connector would stick out too far and not allow the phone to be in a holder. The solution to the problem is this cable. With a 90 degree turn it minimizes the space needed when connected to the phone.

The Impact MC-03 Magic Clamp not only is very useful for desks, but also very useful for bed frames! This is going to be my primary use, watching YouTube and movies hands free while I lay down facing up nice and comfortable with my pillow.  This reduces fatigue holding a phone in bed for hours and trying to watch my content sideways and still having to hold the phone. Not anymore! The gooseneck is made of metal, everything else is plastic. There are two types of people, the ones that break everything they touch, others who like to add a little finesse handling things. The ABS plastic is a hard plastic material, so the plastic clamp that attaches to surfaces, I find it sturdy, has a strong bite. The phone holder being made of plastic, even loading with a heavy iPhone ProMax, it holds the phone fine, there is NO NEED to over tighten the ball mount. That is the ONLY part that requires a little finesse. This in my hands will last a long time. Yes, it would be nice if the whole unit was made of metal. but it's going to cost more of course. Pros:  1-Very flexible (and metal) gooseneck, and even mounting in a bed frame which gravity will want to pull the gooseneck down, it stays! The phone holder can tilt a little, allowing minor adjustments to be exactly parallel to my face mounting it on my bedframe frame and at a perfect height. 2-Clamp has a nice bite. Cons: 1- Phone mount plastic parts may be a little fragile for some users. Just be gentle with the phone holder ball mount and you'll be fine. You do NOT need to over tighten. I was always skeptical of magnetic mounts and passed several deals on Woot or other sites. I chanced upon a demo setup in the store and was very impressed with the hold. Bought one and installed it in my car. The base with the magnet attaches via sticky tape to the car. The magnet part is a ball/socket contraption in the base and can be held in a suitable angle by tightening a plastic nut. A metal plate goes on the phone. The metal plate can be inserted between the phone and case, or directly glued to the phone (plate has a sticky side). My purchase came with two plates a small the size of a quarter and a larger one the size of a credit card. I used the larger one on my iPhone 6 plus. I just put it in between the phone and case. The magnet is strong enough to hold my iPhone 6 plus at highway speeds. I have even run my car on rough spots on the streets to see if it would fall off. So far so good. I am yet to see how well the glue on the base holds up when summer comes along. One of the best uses I put this mount was attending a meeting, the kind of meeting where you have to dial in to listen and occasionally say a few words. I stuck my phone in landscape mode with gotomeeting running on it with audio streaming into my bluetooth headset.
