I was hoping not to pay the premium price - but having tried even certified cables from other brands, this is the only cable that does not have an occasional drop in signal when shooting 4K, 60P, 10bit from the GH5. Built very well and worth the premium price.

Disclaimer: In order for this to work you MUST have the Apple certified thunderbolt 3 cable. Do not attempt to buy a knock off or use a USB-C hard drive cable. It will not power the device. You need the $40 Apple cable. Other than, that this thing works perfectly. It’s predecessor would always give me connection issues and I would have to unplug and replug it. This one new plug it in and go. I love it. Wish they would’ve released it a while back but I’m enjoying it now

If you have transfer speed issues, use a certified USB C 3.1 cable; not all cables are created equally. I was stuck with 40MB transfer speed until I changed my cable. With the proper cable, it jumps to over 480MB/sec. Much faster and no need for other adapters.

Sturdy, durable and does the job efficiently. Data transfer speed too has improved significantly. I have used Bellingham for years and it is a quality product!

I'm a boom operator and had been meaning to upgrade, and this pole seals the deal. With an internal coiled cable, there are never any snags when raising or lowering the pole. The internal cable does produce some handling noise, but if you're not herky jerky with it, it'll never become a problem. Also, the XLR output on the side of the pole is a really nice touch. I can unplug and detach from the pole with ease and I can lean it standing up without worry of the cable being pressed down upon. It's a bit pricey for just a pole, but let me assure you, it is NOT just a pole. Outstanding design! And hopefully I'll never have to buy another one!

I use this product to carry my lightning shutter acctuator and cable and it fits perfect.
