I've used Ilford MG FB for years and have compared it to many other (perhaps all) papers. I keep coming back to MGFB. I use the 5x7 for proofs from 35mm negs then print the keepers on a large size paper. Usually use #2 to see the full range of tones in the negative. Sometimes used for contacts from 4x5.

Solid CF card that you can rely on. 128gb gives enough to not have to worry about running out of room, and 160 mg/s is more than enough. I shoot on a Canon 5d Mark IV.

I really like this paper. So far I have only developed it in Ilford Multigrade (1:9). It is quite a bit slower (needs more exposure) than Ilford MG classic and needs about a grade more filtration. Strangely it does not increase its DMax in selenium (1:30) I plan on developing it in D72, Ansco 130 and Defender 55-D but the results so far as beautiful.

If you liked the old MG IV fiber paper then you'll love the new classic paper from Ilford. It's my go to paper for all printing. I don't usually tone and the paper seems to dry a little warmer then the previous version. Great paper at a competitive price.

The Yamaha MG-10 mixer fits this case very well (put the power supply in the outer pocket) and is very well protected. Good value.

I've been using MG FB for many years and always found it to be dependable. Near neutral tone that adds depth when toned in selenium. I use LPD which I prefer over Dektol

I have used MG V RC Pearl in all other sizes. First time printing this large. I expect the paper to behave the same as cut sheet. Based on that, five stars. If there is a problem I will report back.
