Mi Portable Photo Printer App

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the original Canon IVY Mini Photo Printer a lot and this second generation is even better! It is not only very portable and even lighter, but also it is less slippery because of the upgraded plastic cover that is not glossy anymore and has textured bottom cover. It also got even smaller in size than before and now even smaller than any of our phones! Canon IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer comes with USB-C charging cable and 10 sheets of sticky back photo paper. Keep in mind that you will have to supply your own charging block for the cable, but if you have it already for any of your phones then you will have no problem just charging it with that. The battery on the new generation printer is much better also, holds longer and charges even faster. The printing times are also faster now and the quality of images is just as good as before. The set up and installation were super easy and fast, simply turn on, connect and add via Bluetooth the printer to the Canon Mini Print app. The app is user friendly and straightforward to use. The app is also a full photo editor so you can do all kinds of effects and manipulations with your photos before printing them out. It still needs no ink and paper comes in different shapes and has a sticky back so you can stick it on any surface you want and personalize a lot of items with your pictures. Great idea for a gift not only the printer itself, but also any items you can personalize with the printed images coming out of that printer. Perfect for the Holiday season!

It’s the perfect size, the setup was extremely easy and it came charged enough to start printing photo stickers right away. This would make a perfect gift for anyone! It came in a very pretty pink color and all the things you need to use it. I love the fact that you don’t need No INK! Come with an app, where you can select your photos and customize it. My daughter was able to use the app and add a cute frame to her picture. I definitely recommend this mini photo printer. This would be perfect for teenagers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read some reviews on this printer before I set mine up and was expecting to run into some trouble in the setup process but I gotta say, this has to be the easiest printer setup I have ever had to do in my life. A lot of times, printers are so hard for me to set up so I was dreading doing this one and I’m so happy that it was SO EASY! I set it up to my iPhone by downloading the app and it walked me through step by step on the display screen and then in the app. When I went to print a photo on some of the free photo paper that was included in the box, I wasn’t sure how to put 4x6 paper in so I referred to the app and it showed me how to use the rear paper loader then the display showed an animation on exactly how to do it. SO. EASY! The print quality was awesome on the photo, too.. maybe even better than when I send it to print at the store. I’m so happy to have my own printer downstairs in my office, been using my husbands which is upstairs and i was not a fan of having to run upstairs to get my papers constantly lol. I highly recommend this printer, I can’t wait to start printing more things!!

Amazing printer for its size. Love the app that allows me to customize the photo size and more. I have a Selphy & a small HP and neither compare. My only complaint would be print cost- seems higher at around 33-35 cents a print. I will only use it for collage prints to get multiple prints at a time

It was very easy to set up and connect to my phone with the app. The app lets you customize the prints with frames, filters, and stickers. I printed out the cutest picture stickers with my daughter to decorate her binder. This mini photo printer would make a great gift!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently hooked up my new Envy Inspire printer in my room and it was so easy to get started with it, the app for it is wonderful. I can print from anywhere in my house using the app and the pictures I printed out using the glossy photo paper are amazing! So bright and perfect!! Thanks to this printer I no longer have to use a photo company to print the pics that I really want. The instant ink subscription makes getting ink refills a breeze as well. No more running to the store for ink refills!!

This has been working great for me so far. I'm using a Samsung S22 Ultra and WiFi printing. If you're not technologically inclined you're probably not going to do well with a photo printer. You will have to approve the Wi-Fi connection in order to send a photo to the printer from the app otherwise your phone will deny the connection since there's technically no Internet connection when you connect to the printer. Once the Wi-Fi connection "connects" fully the photo will send and print in less than a minute. There could be a better workflow to the app but overall I'm very happy with this purchase and that my pictures are no longer just sitting on my phone waiting to be lost forever.

This is the very first printer that I have found very easy to use. When unboxing everything was intact and sealed perfectly. Once unpacked and plastic removed from everything started the set up process. First step was downloading the app onto my phone. Once the app was installed it walked your through step by step instructions to set up wifi as well as how to fill the ink. Once this was complete it took a few minutes to print alignments. Again, everything was detailed that you were not questioning how to do something. Once everything was set up and completed tried my first print. My first print I tried was a photo on photo paper. It looked amazing. So I tried another regular print for some work items and these came out great. The colors were vibrant and just what I was looking for. To use/control the printer, you download the free app in your phones AppStore. Once done I was able to set this up and connect my phone through Bluetooth so easily. The setup was a breeze. Even loading the film was easy!! It also has a yellow indicator line to show that it’s aligned correctly. Once that is done, the printer is ready to use. It’s as simple as that!!! This prints 3in x 5in photos in about 30 seconds from pressing the print button. It prints the picture just as it is on your phone. There are so many features that this printer has. This has 2 modes you can choose to print in to enhance your photo. The modes are “Instax-Rich” which prints your photos in richer colors. The“Instax-Natural” modes prints in the natural image colors. You can also adjust the saturation, contrast, and brightness manually. The app includes editable templates in which you can rotate, zoom, and crop a photo. You’re also able to add stickers and texts. Certain parts of the templates, you are able to change the colors of. So many features are customizable and that’s fantastic!! You can also choose to print a simple photo and add stickers and texts. The last interesting feature is the ability to convert content to a QR code and add that code to your photo. You can link a website, location, add a recorded sound, or add a hidden message. To wrap this all up, this all comes packed in a compact, sleek, and lightweight device. It fits nicely in my purse. They also included a nice wrist strap!!! I am in love with this printer!!!t

The photo design possibilities are only limited by your creativity. There is so many designs you can do with the photo app before printing. With the ‘Canon Mini Print’ app, you can add photo frames, stickers, or texts to a photo that was previously taken. You can draw on your photos, make collages, or even add your photos to pre-made layout. The app provides you with tons of holiday photo frames and layouts. You can also create stickers or labels. The printer prints quick on a special photo paper called Zink photo where the printer requires ‘ZERO-ink’ when printing. The special photo paper is also a peel and stick, which is an added plus. The mini printer was easy to setup. It charged up quick, but it also discharges quickly when printing. It uses around 9% of its battery life per print. Overall, this mini printer would make a great gift, especially to teenager. In this age of social media, any kid that has access to a phone can print and share their memories with their friends.
