Mic Quality Bad Obs Corsair Headset

This is one of the best Headset that Logitech has created. B&H had this headset on sale and I just had to buy them. I am glad I did and I like the sound quality and the mic is very responsive. You cannot go wrong if you are a game like me.

Allowed me to use my headset with mic.

Bought the headset about a month ago, needed a replacement for my JBL Quantum 200's. Overall the product is top tier, the sound quality is crisp, clean, and (often times) very loud. Pros: - Long battery life (while wireless), in my experience it gets a solid 30-32 hours whilst connected to the included dongle, and right around 43 hours with Bluetooth only. The headset can be connected via Bluetooth AND the dongle at the same time. Note; I do have the RGB function disabled on my headset, which extends the battery life by a *ton*. - Good range on the wireless connection, both Bluetooth and dongle. - Capability to be wired with USB-C (console), or 3.5mm jack going into a headphone/mic splitter (PC) - Amazing mic quality *while connect via wires*. Honestly the mic's balance and quality is on par with some dedicated desk/boom mic's that I've had in the past. - Very comfy fit, I can easily wear them for 5-6 hours straight with no issues. Very little wiggle on my head, even when vigorously shaking or bobbing my head. - Active noise cancelling is so good that it's almost disorienting. Being able to hear most of the environment around you just vanish really is a harrowing and alien experience after never having used it before. The noise cancelling is togglable from a button on the left earphone. There is also a Talk through function, for when you need to hear everything around you or carry on a conversation. - Audio has next to zero delay whilst wireless. I've played quite a few CS:GO and Valorant games, relying almost entirely upon audio cues/footsteps. Not once did I notice any delay that ever affected gameplay. Con(s): - Uhm... Mic quality whilst wireless decreases substantially? Less of a con, more of a side effect to ANY wireless connection. Over all; If I could give this headset a 6/5 stars, I would. It really is one of the most versatile pieces of tech that I own.

This is my second headset as mic quite working one first pair

The iMac internal mic is not great. The cheap USB mic I got to replace it worked ok with many OBS Studio audio filters. The G-Track Pro works in OBS with just the noise gate filter as all it needs and that's just to suppress my keyboard sounds. Nice. I have the silver one. I like the color. Overall, I'd recommend this mic. Oh, I have it sitting on one of those giant desk/mouse pads and it seems to help with the bump on the desk noise as it provides extra padding below its own stand which already has a small pad under the base. BTW I always wanted to know the base diameter and it is 4 9/16 (that just a tad over 4.5 inches across to be lazy.)

Best mic for the price, in my opinion. Use it for conversations/OBS on a rode PSA1 Arm, and as a backup mic for my neumann TLM 103. Shockingly, if you EQ it, it can get pretty close to the neumann TLM 103.

I have been using this set for about a month now at 8 different events. My review is based on what they claim to be and not what I wish they were. These units are very simple to use, and I have experience little to no RF interference using the Auto Scan feature. I am able to separate channels into two mono sources in OBS (pan left or right, then select mono in OBS Advanced Audio Properties). This function is crucial to how I use them, and it works well. The built-in mic has come in handy, although I generally use the wired mic that came with the set. The sound has plenty of bass, even with the low-cut filter turned on. They haven't been problematic at about 100 feet, especially if I am mindful to keep transmitter and received antennas line of sight. The longest they have been used in one session is about 3 hours, which only knocked a couple of bars off the charge level. So far, I'm very pleased and would definitely buy this set again.
