Micro Center Cell Phone Booster

This micro case is very useful to protect small and important things (money, car key, cell phone, etc) while fishing or just boating.

This Cell Phone Mount was bought for my Wife. She watches videos on her cell phone often and I thought this was a better idea than leaning her phone against a bottle of ketchup or loaf of bread. Combining this with a tiny foldable tripod gives her a compact stand for her cell phone and she now uses it almost daily. She seems to like it and it folds up to take very little space. The mount had a slight hangup when I first tried it out but seems to work fine now. The threads in the plastic parts are actually brass inserts that are moulded in place so they will probably hold up a lot longer than plain plastic would. The plastic is well moulded and seems to be pretty good quality. In theory, the mount will stand up without a tripod, but it isn't stable.

Currently using to adapt Canon FD to F mount speed booster to Micro 4/3. Works with my silver and black ring FD lenses, but some with a longer tab will not work, but that's also consistent across a few different lans manufacturers. No problems with infinity focus. I haven't studied photos enough to determine optical quality, but generally speaking, its all there.

The Metabones Speed Booster is a must have for the BLACK MAGIC 2.5K and the pocket camera with the Micro-4/3 mount. The optics are framed closer and the aperture is better for light. This Metabones adapter gives me the ability to use Nikon mount lenses that are non-manual which is a huge plus! It is a crucial part of my BMC 2.5k rig.

First, this is a full-frame lens. On Micro 4/3, 400mm f/8 turns into 800mm f/16, which needs a very bright conditions to shoot at shutter speeds higher than 1/160 (at 800mm handheld this speed is already crazy, but compensated very well by IBIS - I get shots with no motion blur). Second, speed booster is a must (from full-frame EF to M4/3). Just forget about sharp photos at 400mm (800mm FF equiv) on M4/3. On the magnification that high you'll see a lot of distortion effects like atmospheric dribble, haze, loss of contrast even from the small amount of directed light. Your photos really start depending on the air temperature. 800mm focal length is near useless during the hot summer regardless of the lens. With a speed booster (x0.71) it turns into the light compact 300mm 5.6 with acceptable sharpness, which has a nice build and joy to handle. Thirdly, at 800mm, which you get on M4/3, the focus shifts substantially even from the slight touch (literally, just from touching the focus ring). The significant amount of focus ring rotation interval is devoted to close distances from 3 to 15 meters. You get practically millimeters and fractions of millimeters left to focus on distant objects. Overall, this is an excellent lens with a nice build, impressive resolution and joyful handling. Just not on Micro 4/3. At least, not without a speed booster.
