Micro Center Protection Plans

In my past experience, Canon has been good with their protection plans.

Can't beat this deal on bonafide AppleCare Protection. I've tried other protection plans but always come back to Apple. For one, some other protection plans will stick you when they say, replace with like kind-- which could mean a PC with same RAM and features as your MacBook or other Apple product. With AppleCare you have the confidnce of always knowing you will have Apple products and parts.

Protection plans aren't very exciting, but I did manage to get some valuable use out of the protection plan I purchased years ago for my mid 2010 MacBook Pro when its motherboard developed some cold solder joint problems and needed to be replaced just as the plan was running out. I'm typing this on my new 14 inch MacBook Pro which I just purchased to replace that mid 2010 MacBook Pro that I have used daily for almost 12 years. Purchasing the protection plan was worth it.

I didn't realize that B&H sold Applecare protection plans - and at such a reasonable price. ...

I usually do not purchase protection plans, but after reviewing everything that the Canon CarePAK Plus offers I decided it was well worth the money to protect my recently purchased Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. In the unlikely event that the camera would need service, I know that it would be serviced by Canon professionals with only original Canon parts. However, the plan offers much more than that. The sensor cleanings alone would justify the cost of the plan. I purchased the plan through B&H online and as usual they made everything easy.

Apparently Apple stopped doing these boxed protection plans, and moved on to just digital codes or online or whatever. So they were a little confused in the store when I told them I was getting a protection plan in the mail. But it applied without any problems. Great!

Just gotta say, no where else have I been able to find Applecare protection plans so deeply discounted. This is the real deal!

I have never gotten any protection plans in the past but after seeing the prices it felt like a no brainer. My family and I all went in together to buy parts for a brand new computer for my boyfriend who works in IT and is an avid gamer and none of them were cheap. I knew how fragile some parts of a PC can be and was hopeful but not sure if we could squeeze protection into our budget but Allstate managed to protect all the important parts of the roughly $500 PC for a little under $100 total. We don't have a lot of spare cash so this gift took a lot of saving up and having the coverage made us all feel better about the cost!

We are a small non-profit with running about 20 different Macs. We purchase protection plans for all of our new Macs and they do come in handy. We have had hardware replaced, free of cost, which has saved us money. Bottom line - it would have cost more to replace a damaged hard drive or defective display that the cost of the protection plan. We like our Macs, but they do have occasional hardware issues.

Why buy direct from the retailer when B & H has great savings on AppleCare Protection Plans. And, it is the real thing, not a big box store substitute.
