3 weeks in and still running amazing. Can't believe we didn't have to buy a new computer.

So I was looking for monitors for my a6500 because it's just so tedious to film myself without a flip out screen and this changes the game. The screen is really bright, sharp, and the colors are amazing. The latency (delay) is noticeable but doesn't bug me at all AND THAT WAS THE MAIN REASON I WAS HESITANT FOR GETTING IT. I think the latency is like 11ms but it really doesn't bug me. You do have to buy your own np 970 batteries and a micro hdmi cable. It comes with a mini hdmi but a6500 only has micro. Overall I have to say this is probably one of the best monitors money can get. Don't waste $600 on a smallhd focus unless you have the money and don't mind spending that much. Even then I would recommend getting 3 of these monitors just cause I like it so much.

Very well made product. Bought 2 of them to use as desk stands for my iLoud Micro Monitors, and they're fantastic for that purpose (IF that you have two 5/8 to 3/8 adapters that is). Also got some sorbothane hemispheres to put on the feet of the stands to decouple them from the desk. Great results :)

I absolutely Love my iLoud Micro Monitors. I took the opportunity to grab them during the 2020 Black Friday deal at B&H and Wow! So glad I finally added these to my collection of monitoring speakers. Between these, Avatone Mixcube, Tannoy System 12, Yamaha HS-8 these are my go to monitors for everything. Music Production, Post Production. They deliver an excellent bass, mid and high range. In my opinion they translate into a perfect near-field monitoring system that can easily be taken on the road for hotel sessions when needed. Excellent investment for any size studio professional. @LatinHouseNation

The IK Multimedia iLoud Micro Monitors exceeded my expectations.  They are a fine addition to my home studio.  I highly recommend these at this price point.

I have several small articulating arms, including two of this 244 micro friction arm. I use them along with Manfrotto nano-clamp and super-clamps mounted on my tripods to position and hold field monitors and field recorders (I like mounting them on the tripod rather than hotshoe or camera-cage - sturdier and better positioning flexibility). You can use the 3/8-16 anti-rotation adapter directly on Manfrotto tripods so equipped. I don't have the compatible tripods and prefer the clamps, so I modified the clamps with slots to accept the anti-rotation adapters. On the monitor end, I use the standard 1/4-20 studs with (not supplied) flat jam-nuts. The other arm I have is a Pearstone that came with one of the monitors. The Pearstone is half the price, but you get what you pay for. To function well, I expect the friction arm to transition from completely loose to rock-solid, with a progressive, smooth increase in friction as I tighten the cam. The Pearstone just doesn't have the fit and finish on the ball joints, so it catches and binds as I try to adjust it. The Manfrotto is so smooth and easy to adjust when the cam is open, and positioning the monitor with medium friction is the same - beautifully smooth. Then when I lock it down, it is completely rigid - solid as can be. The quality of machining and polishing and overall workmanship on this arm is top-notch. Don't try to save money on the cheap knock-offs - you will ultimately regret it. I am not a Monfrotto worshipper - I think they make some good stuff and some mediocre stuff as well - but this micro friction arm is one really well-made piece and worth the extra coin.

I purchased two of these monitors to use with micro computers as retail point of sale displays. The size is great and the touch screen functions nicely. I will say I had a really hard time getting the touch to work at first because I didn't understand that you have to use both an HDMI cable (for video) and the other USB cable for the touch. I took a star off (in my head) because it took me two days to figure that out (it certainly wasn't clear in the instructions), but I added a star back because the online chat with Asus was helpful in figuring that out.
