Micro Tech Computers

This is one of those great products that you just don't really think about until you need it and then you are happy to have it. I have a number of devices that use Micro USB but my computers, phones, tablets, and many if not most of my charging bricks are all USB C so when I have a Micro USB cable it becomes a bit of an annoyance plugging it in and this adapter takes that annoyance away and makes those cables compatible with all of my other USB C ports. If you don't have any of these yet grab a couple and have them around you will be surprised how useful they can be. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

I bought this for a little micro sized computer that stays in a shared space that is sort of open to the public sometimes. The locking mechanism is simple enough, but seems pretty stout. I purchased two of these monitors to use with micro computers as retail point of sale displays. The size is great and the touch screen functions nicely. I will say I had a really hard time getting the touch to work at first because I didn't understand that you have to use both an HDMI cable (for video) and the other USB cable for the touch. I took a star off (in my head) because it took me two days to figure that out (it certainly wasn't clear in the instructions), but I added a star back because the online chat with Asus was helpful in figuring that out.

Microphones are always a little more expensive than you might think (because of the micro-tech inside), at least if you are an amateur like I am. But once you are over that hurdle, this little setup is a nice shotgun mic. We have it for our Canon XA40. The angle XLR cable is a nice clean way to hook it up. The shock mount is not needed for the XA40, but for putting on another mic stand or boom it would be needed.

Amazing as is ! Any chance of the swim with newer tech, micro band, couple more gigs, and in the same form-factor. Still amazing !

The OP/Tech cam strap-qd in black is perfect for small photography accessories & tools in my camera bag. In this instance, I am tethering it to my micro mag-lite flashlight for my low light photography excursions. Its allows me to grab my micro mag-light quickly without digging around my camera bag. I can hang it out of my back pocket or simply use it as a wrist strap. The Op/Tech Can Strap is indispensable as are many of their other products!
