Micro Usb Battery Solar Charged For Security Cameras

I have 3 FLEX cameras all are working great, 1 on a solar panel and 2 on batteries. I use them for security. I can now Cleary see the license plates of vehicles when they park at my gate, which my others cameras couldn't read. And the FLEX plus feature will be great this winter to see how deep the snow is getting at my off grid place.

I had to replace some of the batteries on 6 camera system. The usb-micro connection is a little weak and I had a few break. I have solar panels on all the cameras and it keeps the batteries charge all summer, when winter comes the sun just doesn’t cut it.

I bought my first Link Micro solar over a year ago and have now added several more to my arsenal of trail cameras. These cameras have been very reliable, and battery life has been phenomenal.

I have (5) Link Micro Solar units. For the price point and what you get as an Insider Club Member, its a hard deal to beat in the cellular camera market. I can’t say cameras functioned flawlessly because I have had a couple problems along the way. Despite the problems I have encountered, the downtime on my cameras has been pretty darn low. From the problems I have encountered I have had to have (2) cameras replaced. What I’m very pleased to say is Spypoint has stood behind the products they produce and always treated me correctly as a Customer with excellence Customer Service. From some of the changes that I’ve seen in the products I own and new product being released, as a Quality Manager in the manufacturing sector, its evident Spypoint clearly understands who the Big C (Customer) is. Its also evident they understand and deploy the Voice of Customer, Lessons Learned & Continuous Improvement Concepts. Nice security boxes but you can reach in the top and pull the Link Micro camera right out. The entire top is open and the Link Micro will just come right out. Welded a narrow piece of metal to the top to keep someone from stealing it. The security box is too big for the Link Micro but with a little padding you can keep it in place. The info on the website says it will fit “Link” cameras but perhaps they didn’t mean “Link Micro” cameras.

I had received a Link-Micro LTE several years ago and I am using it for security in a remote building where there is no internet, it has worked great. I received two more Link-Micro LTE for Christmas 2023 and am using one for security in another building, the second will be used for coyote observation. I get about 50% cell signal on all cameras but they work great. I am planning on purchasing two of the rechargable battery packs for the cameras with the unlimited transmission option.

These micro mounts are great for small machine-vision and security cameras. I use them to hang cameras for art installations. Lots of configuration options make it easy to adjust for different venues.

Great solar panels. I was surprised how well it charged.

This thing works flawlessly! The solar panel keeps the battery charged and the cellular ability keeps the photos coming to my phone instantly! Very glad I chose this camera for my property!
