I had been using cheaper cables but the micro connectors are pretty unreliable. Plus I've had a lot of issues with shooting tethered to my a7rII so I stepped up to the high quality tethertools cable and the extra length and high visibility is a good thing. I had no issues on my first shoot using it of almost 900 captures. So far so good. 5 |

I have an older USB-3 setup - all the cables have type A connectors so this hub is ideal for that - no real-estate used up for type C connectors. I especially like having individual buttons to control each port. I can leave all my peripherals plugged-in and choose which to have live. I have several external drive combinations and this feature lets me boot them as needed. 5 |

With everything having USB-C connectors, everything from Thunderbolt 3/4 to 10GB/s USB cables to simple USB charging cables I needed to make sure I hade suitable cables to go between my Thunderbolt 4 Ports, ... hat did not break the bank.
