Microphone Adaptor Mini Plug To Phone Jack

This microphone is a tiny lavaliere style designed to plug into a 1/8 mini jack with screw-down connection. It offers great sound quality and, despite its diminutive size, is pretty tough. It comes with several different end caps and a shirt clip. It also includes a nice zippered pouch to store the package. A bit expensive but worth it if you need a small, high-quality lavaliere that will stand up to daily production.

This headphone jack adaptor will be necessary when I upgrade my mobile phone and want to use my headphones. Great quality at a reasonable price.

I plug the 3.5mm mini-jack end into my dual wireless lav receiver. I plug the two XLRs into my audio recorder. The stereo signal from the lav receiver splits into Left on one XLR and Right on the other XLR, leaving me with two Mono tracks on the audio recorder. Exactly what I need.

You need to have a trs female to try male adaptor to plug the microphone into you iPad mini plug input. This microphone works very well and creates a wonderful full sound for videos created with the iPad. I also have the Rode NTG 2 Shotgun microphone. This VideoMic compares very favorably with the more expensive NTG2.

Easy plug and use mini wireless microphone within 1-2 minutes. I use it for short range interview (within 10meter), and never had issue with signal. Sound quality same as my sennheiser G3.

This isn’t the most exciting thing you will ever buy, but if you have a microphone that has a regular stereo plug and need to connect to a smart phone or iPad, it works really well. Some apps won’t recognize the microphone unless one of these is on there. It saves you from having to buy a special microphone just doesn’t your smartphone.
