The sound you can record with this recorder at this price range is amazing, not only you can use it as a recorder but also as a microphone that you can use directly to your windows/mac pc with a cable. Microphone is very sensitive so I suggest you get a windscreen 5 |

My PC has separate headphone/microphone jacks. I use this cable in combination with my cell phone headset for VOIP calls. 5 |

This little guy is AMAZING! You can use it as an audio interface for your mac/pc, you can rum phantom power to condensers. The only slight problem is that it does not come with a power plug for the wall, but you can pick one up at a local store for under $ or $. It also does not include the microphone holder to allow you to put it on a microphone stand, but B&H has those as well. This was, for me, an upgrade from the Zoom H4N and it was worth every penny. I saw one reviewer lament the screen functionality, but I cannot see any problems with the menu/interface. It is intuitive and easy to use. You'll love this thing! It also doesn't seem to be quite as much of a power hog as the H4n (although this one has 4 AA batteries whereas the H4n has 2). 5 |

This Product I researched to find a very good microphone for my desktop PC to use for Dragon Naturally speaking.I have a single core 3.2 GHz Intel PC with 3 GB of ram in a common area of the house I connected this mic to. My wife was 15 feet away watching TV which I could hear clearly. I tried a test record with open source Audacity software. The recording where I read an article out of the newspaper in front of meet was an absolute duplicate of my voice with all tones and inflections correct. It was set on the Cardioid setting. There was absolutely no other noise was recorded other than my voice not even the TV in the background. This is exactly what I wanted. I works like a dream. I will not need any other mic ever. When I can afford it I will have one at every desktop I own. side note this thing is large over 6 inches tall but I knew this when I purchased this item.... great packaging of the Item I ordered. 5 |

I needed a microphone to enable me to record real-time narration while running a screen capturing program which I then provide as a tutorial video for students enrolled in an online class I instruct. I am primarily a Mac user, however, I use a PC because the software application taught in the class is not available on the Mac platform. I was quite pleased and surprised when I plugged the Snowball into my PC USB port, opened the screen capture software, and discovered that the software recognized the presence of the Snowball mic. I selected it as my audio input source and recorded a brief test. The sound it captures was clear, defined, full and far beyond my expectations. This mic is worth every cent (and it's not that expensive) 5 |

I do a lot of things that have to do with gaming both on console and pc. I use it for everything from recording commentary during tournaments to having voice communication during online play. There is nothing wrong with this microphone in anyway. It may not be an extremely high end microphone but for it's price it can't be beat. It is well built; it's almost completely metal with absolutely no flimsiness or weakness at all in it's build. The things I like best about the microphone is that it's completely universal. It plugs right and starts to work on both my pc and my gaming consoles. The other thing is that it's the only microphone that works with consoles that has a complete line of accessories like wind screens and shock mounts. The only mark I can give against the microphone is that it cannot be compared to much higher end microphones. But it's an unfair comparison because this is the only microphone that fulfills it's specific role. 5 |

The instructions are certainly minimal, but my pc was able to recognize the camera on the Logitech C920s HD Pro Webcam and the resolution of the camera seems fine with a decent built-in microphone. If you are during professional videos, you'll prefer investing in a higher quality microphone, but for Zoom meeting, etc., it's just fine. 5 |

I'm using this product as a PC microphone. I've attached it to the top of my 27 Widescreen LCD Monitor using the MIC-EZE M-1 (albeit with substantial difficulty). The mic itself works perfectly with my PC after being paired with an ART Tube MP Preamplifier. This mic is surprisingly quite heavy. Probably because it is a dynamic microphone and not a condenser mic. I'm not a big fan of the stand clamp it ships with as it takes a significant effort to attach/detach the mic to it. It doesn't seem to be truly unidirectional to me. When Skyping with someone they can still hear me quite well even when I move laterally away from the mic while it is attached to the top of my monitor. This was actually a pleasant surprise for me, but other potential buyers may not like this characteristic. It should be noted that I can't definitively compare this mic to others of the same type, because it is the first XLR mic I've ever purchased. Attaching this mic to my LCD monitor using the MIC-EZE M-1 was not easy, but barely doable by wedging an extra metal square bracket into the M-1. Someone REALLY needs to manufacture a microphone mount which utilizes the VESA mounting mechanism now commonly found on the backs of LCD monitors! Overall, given the high quality of the mic and the amazing price, I'd say this is definitely the microphone you want to use with your PC. You will need a pre-amp and mounting mechanism to make it work for this purpose though. 5 |

This was my first time buying a microphone for my PC, and this one was heavily recommended. It has great sound quality and its just plug and play. I don't have anything bad to say about it 5 |

This is a really nice piece of equipment. I have used earlier model USB Microphones on my PC and was thoroughly disappointed to say the least. The truly professional USB Mic s were way out of my price range until recently. I chose the C01U recording Pak with Sonar LE software and a very nice case I converted to carry two pistols to and from the range in. THis case must cost almost as much as the Microphone, yet they threw it in for free! I recorder my child reading, directly to my MAC and then to my Wife's PC. Great sound capture and easily saved to mp3 format and sent to the in-laws. This Microphone makes us feel as though we were sitting in a recording studio. Way more that what we imagined and now we believe we have to become more sophisticated in our recordings to justify owning such a nice piece of recording equipment! I think we'll do as Woody Allen did with What's up Tiger Lilly and re-dub a movie or two just for kicks. 5 |
