Microphone Setting On My Blu Phone

My PC has separate headphone/microphone jacks. I use this cable in combination with my cell phone headset for VOIP calls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My phone microphone isn’t always great, especially from far away, and this has solved all of my problems. It plugs directly into my phone through USB C (make sure you buy the right plug for your phone) and sets up very quickly. It comes with a charging case which protects the microphone on top of charging it. It comes with a cover to block out the wind, which has been great for filming outside, especially at the beach. I’ve used this with both my phone and my laptop, and it’s worked great with both. I have recorded myself playing piano and it sounds so much clearer than my phone mic does. I walked over 20 feet away with the microphone and the connection was still top notch. Would definitely recommend, especially for content creators.

This usb microphone was purchased specifically for recording jam sessions in the studio. Going directly through the sound board was an option, but we wanted to record exactly what we heard in the room. This mic does exactly that. It picked up everything from the bass' lows to the drum's cymbals. The omni-directional setting (Setting-3) worked flawlessly at picking up the 2-loudspeakers, 1-bass cabinet, and acoustic drums. Vocals came across as clear in the recording as they did live. The cardioid setting (Setting-1) works great at picking up the depth subtleties of voice. While -db setting (Setting-2) was superb at recording only what was coming out of one amp while discarding ambient sound quite well. Set-up was a breeze. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good quality (usb specific) microphone.

The Go blu is great for portable use. It matches well with my LETSHUOER S12 Pro IEMs. It has a livelier sound than DAPs I've used. I use my Pixel 7 running Plexamp. I connect using LDAC to the Go Blu. Then I use a Balanced connection from the Go blu to my IEMs. I've experienced no Noise/hiss using the balanced connection. If you're concerned about the no clip issue B&H sells iFi's Go blu leather case with the integrated clip. I've also tried the Go blu with easy to drive headphones and it did fine. I haven't tested the bluetooth distance, but with the phone near me I never loose conections. I have rarely noticed a skip but since I'm streaming music from my NAS to Plexamp on my phone, then using bluetooth to the unit, who's to know what causes that. It might even be the files. Overall, I'm very impressed with the Go blu. It turns almost any headphone into a bluetooth headphone.

Simple setting and good microphone sensitivity. It's a great product for interviews.

My biggest issue was setting up; then it clicked. I love it!
