Microphone Stand Adapter For Tablet

This is a very well-thought out and well-made device. Every time I look at it, I envision new ways in which it can be used to mount my iPad Pro 12.9" tablet. A second set of gripping arms is provided for smaller tablets. If you remove the clamp assembly from the 360 deg. pivot, the tablet adapter can be attached to a standard microphone floor stand, table stand or microphone boom. Also, you can make a custom mounting bracket and attached the tablet adapter to the custom bracket using the threaded bolt from the clamp assembly. Its use is limited only by your imagination.

I already had an adapter I was using, but it did not expand enough for my needs. The Auray IPU-108 Universal Tablet Stand Adapter is just what I needed to hold my iPad for presentations and performances. The ability to attach the adapter to the side of a music stand, or screw it in at the top is an excellent feature. Now I can use a microphone and an iPad with the same stand. BRAVO!!!

Every so often a product comes along the is perfect. I have tried every tablet holder over many many years. At last I have one that works. It snugly holds tablets with or without protective covers. The brackets do not cover the operation buttons. It is solid. Not many manufacturers seem to understand that a few dollars of extra cost is worth the user satisfaction of getting a holder that will be trusted to carry a tablet that makes the cost of the holder insignificant by compassion. This holder has a microphone 5/8 thread. If your not planning to use it on a mic stand remember to purchase a converter for 3/8 or 1/4 threads. I did not, but there was one in the microphone stand gear bag. This will put an iPad tablet on my production bench to remote control a GH5 with FieldMonitor.

Solid and useful. I don't use my tablet stand adapter on a stand but on furniture that can accommodate the pressure of the screw down part. Tablets fit great. I have my iPads set up near my Bose Wave systems to play music, works great, looks great.

This stand works great with the correct adapter to get a lightweight microphone 12’ in the air. Works for orchestra recording.

I bought this adapter to fix a small LCD projector to a microphone stand. Both the 1/4 screw and the ball and socket give a positive connection and lock firmly making a sturdy stand for this very small projector.

This item is very sturdy and can be used for a variety of purposes. It has a 1/4 stud and fits a 5/8 light stand. An adapter that fits the 1/4 stud allows a microphone to be attached to a light stand.

Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug.

I bought this adapter to use with a TAMA microphone stand and could not be happier with it. The stand was high-quality, but it lacked the necessary adapter to use with American microphone mounts. This adapter definitely solved the problem, was priced low and shipped free. I am a very satisfied customer!
