Microphone Stand In Front Of Huge Crowd

Without it, my a6000 recorded the piano sound as if it the piano is being played somewhere in a huge, but you are not sure where. With the microphone, you can tell it is directly in front of you. Highly recommended for a6000. I still need to try an record it in a huge room and with microphone angled out - pointing/covering at the piano.

Excellent microphone for very reasonable price. I have spent a lot of time in the Community Access TV and have had experience with a lot of so called pro-sumer microphones that often cost more and produce less quality recordings. If you don't know how to use the gain control, or change the recording patterns you can get a lot of background noise. But both of these controls are easy to set and use. Only cons are that cheap looking plastic volume knob on the front (volume control), the mic has a nice metal housing, is it really going to break the bank to use a matching metal knob, at least on the front? This is a really big microphone, as long are you realize that its going to stand 12 inches tall on your desk its not a negative, but don't expect to hand hold it, or put it on a flimsy stand. As a side note they do have a new model coming out the Yeti Pro which will also include an XLR out among other features which may be of additional use for recording professionals.

Just love the look of this backpack, makes me stand out in the crowd. Not just that but I like how when I put it down it doesn't sag.

We are using this mixer to switch between a crowd microphone for singing in our church with the main output which comes to us from RCA in the sound board. The box is steel and very rugged. Knobs are easy to control. Solid equipment. Only problem I had was moving the little switch for the phantom power. The tiny piece of plastic ended up going inside the container and I had to remove the case to get it back.

Wow - this mic is big and tall so there's no need to crowd around a teeny-tiny microphone. And it really picks up voices excellently. We tried it while Skyping with someone in Finland and they said it was crystal clear. Now that could have been due to a clear Internet connection but I like to think the Yeti had something to do with it. Only used it in the cardioid mode so far but will try one or more of the other three modes as we get more sophisticated with our Skype sessions. The price and service with B&H was excellent as usual!
