This little guy is going to be my newest best friend for storage space for my iPhone 16 pro, 2024 MacBook Pro and whatever else I can find that needs backups. Seems to simple to use. Connects to my phone and laptop for storing photos and videos. So far it works great and I think it’s money well spent. 5 |

I used this hooked up to my iPhone in the past, but since I upgraded to the newest phone with no headphone jack I've been using the mic hooked up to an audio recorder for my DSLR video (the recorder has phantom power). I use the extension cable and rode adapter for standard 3.5mm input and it works great. The sound is as good as I'll need it to be for interviews. I'd only upgrade to a nicer mic if this one breaks. 5 |

Most noteworthy is that this device allows me to connect my studio microphones directly into the iPhone X. (I'm talking about my Schoeps, Neumann, and Sennheiser 48 volt, XLR, recording mics.) It displaces the less than satisfying mic built into the iPhone, and allows fine audio to be used for all apps requiring a microphone. There is plenty of headroom, and it's quiet. There is also a monitoring circuit for headphones. Input XLR, output Lightning direct to iPhone. 5 |
