Microsoft Bluetooth Fingerprint Keyboard Driver

Apple strikes again with a solid rechargeable keyboard with fingerprint tech. Love it!

I've been using the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard (4000?) for years. I've found that I need to see the keys more often and thought the old keyboard quite large. While looking for low-vision keyboards I found this illuminated model. I thought I'd never adapt to or like a flat keyboard like this but I was so wrong. This is the best keyboard I've ever used. Easy strike, silent, and I can see the keys without bright room lighting -- even without my glasses! A full numbers layout, easy extra function keys, great configuration, easy setup, and a sophisticated appearance. Love it. Highly recommended for everyone at all skill levels.

The app was a quick install and is clean and functional. Pairing the device and adding my first fingerprint took a few minutes. I can't help but wonder if any reviews that mention setting it up, bluetooth etc are also from folks that would have issue with pairing any bluetooth device like my dad. All in all, easy to setup, charges quick, and unlocks super fast and is very accurate. Have not had an issue recognizing my fingerprint and unlocks almost instantaneously as you touch it.

No aftermarket keyboard works as well as the Microsoft Pro Type. And, B&H had it in stock when no one else did.

This keyboard works well with Microsoft's x-box console. I also use the M720 mouse at the same time!

Purchased this to replace an old magic keyboard with white keys and no fingerprint button. I think I will like the black keys because they won't become dirty and require cleaning. Came up with no hiccups and the keys feel exactly the same as the old keyboard it replaces.

If you have an Apple chip laptop (I own a MacBook Air M1 2020), and you use an external screen (yes, a 2012 Apple Thunderbolt 27 monitor), then this keyboard is a must. I will never get used to the more compact keyboards without the numeric keypad and extra buttons, but most importantly this keyboard has a magic fingerprint sensor identical to the one on your laptop, so you can close the laptop-that-never-heats-up and enjoy all the perks of logins, password and authorizations using the fingerprint sensor. At $179 it is on the pricy side, but I value not needing a cable and the sensor, so overall very much worth it.

We were deciding between the Logitech vs the Apple keyboard. Liked the idea of the fingerprint sensor on the apple but I’m glad we chose the Logitech for it’s backlighting, nice key action and overall quality feel.

It works much better than the previous Microsoft 5000 mouse that frequently lost the bluetooth connection. The only concern is the cost.....too high.
