Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse Scrolling Uneven

I'm an editor, and switching from the magic mouse to this was a nice upgrade. The thumb side-scrolling wheel is wonderful when working in NLE's or other programs where horizontal scrolling is convenient. The mouse wheels are nicely weighted as well, and click in each selection -- so when shifting thru font or blending mode selections, you can be precise.

Scrolling with the ring is why I like this mouse

It works much better than the previous Microsoft 5000 mouse that frequently lost the bluetooth connection. The only concern is the cost.....too high.

I bought it because it is microsoft. I believe in microsoft products and this one delivered well. Just make sure your fingers are scrolling the right way when using the pad. But overall, not bad.

I've used the Kensington Expert Mouse for years now and won't do without it. I recently bought a new iMac with the new Magic Mouse. I did like the scrolling ability of the Magic Mouse but after a week I broke down and bought another Kensington Expert Mouse. It has much more accuracy and stability than the Magic Mouse. Plus, the trackball is easier on my hands and wrist than a traditional mouse. I'm on the computer all day and do everything i can to make my day run smoother. Moving the cursor on the screen is much more intuitive to me with a trackball than with a mouse. The Kensington Expert Mouse does have both horizontal and vertical scrolling. While not as intuitive as the Magic Mouse, it still works.

great price and works great, better than Microsoft mouse

This is a great, easy to use mouse. I've used various Microsoft Mouse types through the years and this is the same, good, high quality.

The clicking on the mouse is basically silent, the mouse is really smooth. The only downside is I would wish the scrolling wheel was smoother.

In spite of its shortcomings, the Magic Mouse is still the best Bluetooth mouse for the Mac.
